As far as I can gather, nobody is going to do anything to fix or update this mod without taking the source code provided and knowing what they're doing with Isaac modding. In its current state this mod is a buggy mess that has almost all of its code chained together heavily, except for the unused assets (I tried to delete the ability to find red Boss Rooms, and it removed Red's Key from the game) and it's to the point where the only fully-working feature the mod currently supports are the Red Key Chests.

glitch i always spawn in a boss room and it is always the gurglings and before i fight them it is just a black screen then after the boss intro noise is finished im in the battle anyone know whats happening???

I think it would be cool if there were rooms and bosses modeled after those in the creepypasta. Imagine fighting any of the Not-Bosses.

This is a really cool mod! I had an idea while playing it: maybe the Red Rooms could hold bosses based off the creepypasta.

@XxX_Lucia_2007_XxX I went into the mod's files and checked out some of the code for both items and unlocks. I don't want to spoil what was in there, but I accessed it the same way it was mentioned you could access the tainted character and set its data to "true" instead of "false".

What the developer is referring to by fixing the mod, is that the mod was supposed to have unlocks associated with it (A tainted variant, trinkets, items, and some cards) and they are fully implemented, there's just no way for the player to unlock them currently.

honestly red is a great way of practicing finding ultra secret rooms during any run also nice detail that red looks at the camera for the portrait

actually there is kind of a way to play it, if you go to the mod files and go to the players.xml, you can see that tainted red has hidden set to true, so you can just set it to false, unlock him and play him, although im pretty sure his gimmick doesnt work

I guess the closest thing to a tainted variant is to have Tainted Red be a low resolution of John Madden, as a reference to the alt ending made on the Trollpasta wiki

the pasta was very good, it was ruined by the cliche ex machina lovers ending, the John Madden ending was alot more interesting, but hey this mod is "Still The Best"
