For some reason the sword doesn't always appear in the box for customizing the design in the creation window. It did briefly when I reloaded the save, but when I moved it to get a different angle it disappeared again.

@dexwolf09 ya were having the same issue on my server. every time we load in its just broken.

whenever i load into a singlelayer save, the sword is broken

1 thing you do need to do tho mod author, is what wart below said. add the mod ID into the desc to ppl can find it in steam folder easier.

or you know hulk chevy, actually READ the mod description above. considering how tweakable ark player damage is already, it clearly states in the short *way shorter than your rant" mod dscription to change the base damage in the ini file. it takes quite literally, 20 seconds, to change the sword to whatever damage you want to 'upgrade' it to

i love the concept of this mod its just when put into practical use its for actually playing the game its a cool idea but not better than just a vanilla sword that even say i didnt have the upgrade station ... i can find blueprints for vanilla swords that do way more damage .. so even at that rate again why use sumthign that does waaaay less but looks cool ... idk how to make mods dont get me wrong .. but i do know sum mods that have items with mod specific resources that do work with the upgrade station to be able to upgrade them at a heavy cost.. but if u want that cool weapon u gotta be willing to farm it .. and if ur mod cud do it .. id farm for days if it meant i cud have an amazing looking sword annnnd have the damage to back it up

.. it requires more and more of the resources needed in order to upgrade them ... not precises numbers but as an example ... primitive sword needs 50 ingot 1 wood and 15 hide ... to upgrade u might need like 75 ingot 5 wood and 30 hide ... then next wud be 200 ingot 50 wood and 100 hide ... and so on and so forth till u make it ascendant ... if ur mod cud do the same with the specific pieces ... 1 pommel and u need 10 to upgrade .... then 30 ... so on and so forth with each type of piece till its a higher quality and does way more damage then it wud be amazing....

hey bud sry took a break from ark but about to start back up ... what i was saying back in august about the sword is that its not doing that much more damage from a primitive vanilla sword .. other than looking cooler ... a vanilla sword can be upgraded via said mod from b4 .. upgrade-station .... and do 5-10x more damage .. making the modular sword pointless except for if its a purely RP server .. yes ur swords look wayyyy better but if its only doing 20 more damage .. maybe with optimal pieces... as primitive then why bother when i can upgrade a vanilla sword with upgrade station and double the damage just after one upgrade not to mention getting said sword to ascendant ... if i cud do that with ur swords id never touch a vanilla sword again ... the mod i mention doesnt give u free stuff

It would be nice to be a bit more specific under wich conditions it was not working. Was it single or multiplayer? Wich map was it?

It would have been a really cool mod to not only do a showcase on but have on my personal server.

Dude this mod is broken. I just tried to do a show case video for it and the in menu display was pitch black, loading out of the session breaks the swords as well.

Its Intended that it is Primitive. I want to make more Weaponparts with better stats to make the resulting Sword Stronger. If you have suggestions for Weapon Part Recipes you can put them in the Discussion Section if you like.

also .. seems crystal blade is pointless... no matter wat combo u do with it u end with negative durability

This mod is great!! reminds me of the tinkers mod from minecraft. Would love to see more attributes that change how the sword behaves link in tinkers. Could also incorperate more weapons and armor along with saddles ?!?! that would be great!
