yesh, am necroing comms here, although, no wish to flame and stuff. but shmon folks, even if when were a kid, all good games came previously from a PC. Sure, it's not a rule that all games are better on PC, since consoles are/were design for a very specific function, while pcs had to deal not only with games, not only with work IRL, but ALL GAMES ARE CREATED ON A PC. Weird stuff is that when converted back from consoles to PC, softhouses (ok, some) have a so real/deep understanding on how the engine they purchased/home-made (whether buying from 3rd part or probably underpaying coders) that they end up breaking their own game when porting back to the very pc they used to make the game...

...Both sides have their slice of that not so delicious nor deserving part of the cake, yet, due to reasons aforementioned, when a gamehouse knows what theyre doing, and take the best from hard/software worked with, no wonder such game will shine on referred platform with zero warranty any porting will follow same polishment - as said, due to the fact any considered gem was created keeping the tools/means in mind. whenenever porting if result is great, kudos, really shiny team - whether same if done porting done by emselves, or to the translating team for truly understanding why the star theyre been working with is blinding-shine.

these days, consoles are nothing else than computers, and while in the past pcs innovations made those high temperature weirdly shape boxes to progress, pcs by design had and will always have endless freedom in comparison, although due to those hot-boxes of entertainment, new techs have/had been designed to make them faster and perform at least similar to an almost high end pc (course an enthusiast PC will always win, as said, they by default are free, only limitations are the tech advancement itself and how much they owner may/can spend or even creatively create all brand new innovations (or work around to innovate themselves -)

although, once again, due to the struggling hardware-gaming makers face(d), they have(/had) to make it due even whether from thin air to make their creations be/feel at least on par with PCs (otherwise no one would by them,) but it's ay two-direction road, whatever they find out/discover/create can be used to propel PCs even further. Hence, no need to fight for this or that. I bet a gaming rig wouldn't ever fight their younger sibling. These days, weren't for consoles, PCs roster would be less innovative.

if you want to blame anything, blame the mobile market, which has zero respect for (real) gamers, and lie/distort what gaming is for potential new ones with a market swolle with pseudo-free cash grabbing stuff to a point such gamer already considered such business practice ok, while it's not and shouldn't ever be. we both, whether PCers or Consolers hate, fight and cry out whenever companies lie/mistreat us. Those poor sods not only acept as well as take it as standard, while IS NOT. A game whether you pay a single dime, whatever the reason, IS NOT FREE. A game where the amount of cash you can dish out to progress IS NOT A FREE GAME, I don't even care calling those virus as games. HEnce, real gamers - Us/We - unite against the true evil which has been already bordering us trying to convince that their plague is life (since "no game, no life") until their taint had corrupted our so loved and protected (by us, no wonder we fight each other) gaming den.
