Yeah. Working on it slowly. There's about 250~ new lines. Skipping lines that are obvious Timelines stuff though.

There is few lines (PE, Xenon miner for example) which i hear with standard voice

It still works in 7.0. Tell me about any new lines that show up in the main game. Not gonna change timelines stuff.

Used chatgpt to write a Python script to filter out voice lines with no matching sound file. Don't have it saved anymore. unfortunately.

The voice audio files are in 03.cat and the subtitle files are in 09.cat. It takes some work to sort through it. The ship computer lines are grouped well enough. I used Xvasynth for the tali voice. There were about 3000+ audio files I had to edit in Audacity. Took me about a week or so.

Chimera is pronounced "Kai-mera" not "Chih-mera", other than that pretty much solid except for some modded ship names so far.

is there anyway you can slow her down a little? like not stretch her speech out by playing with frequencies, but give her a little extra time to speak? she sounds kinda rushed. like she was late for an interview and now she's trying to rush out a prepared speech to catch up on time.

Yeah, I just did text to audio. I tried audio to audio conversion and it sounded horrible.

Thanks, but I failed. I tried to use SOVITS to convert Betty's voice to Yuuka's, and it was even more inaudible after the conversion.

@CHCYQTXFS X4 goes up to 20404. 99000, 99001, and 99002 are used by The Ancients mod.

If you want to replace a line in another mod I think you just have to make a diff xml file under "your_mod/extensions/the_other_mod/the_path_to_the_xml_file", that's how I made my mod support other mods. Excellent mod BTW

i downloaded mod without any problem. Didn't know there was trouble
And Shuulo uploads only to Nexus atm, so i dunno why he split mod in two.

The max seems to be around 270~ from what I could tell. I cut it down to 90 and it still gives an error.

Voted. On another note, it may not be your issue but Shuulo had issues uploading a VRO update. Due to it being over 200MB, steam didn't like it. So he ended up breaking his mod up into 2 pieces.

Vro only adds one line saying Hyperion. So far it's only VRO and the Ancients mods that add new lines, as far as I know.

And yeah, if there is no line it would just be Betty speaking.

I was just asking, I'm pretty sure new ships added in VRO have betty lines for their names, or at least some of them do. I was just wondering what the game would do if you clicked on something you didn't make lines for. Its not that big a deal if sometimes betty speaks again for certain things

I could just do them and upload them standalone, but then you'd have to modify VRO's catalog replacing the sound files.

VRO adds lines? I tried replacing lines in another mod, but it didn't work. Tried looking on the forums but there's no mention on how to replace other mod's files when it's in an ext_01.

What will this do if I run mods that add ships that have Betty Voices (like VRO) Will it still use betty for those lines, or will they be blank? (or worse, will it crash?)

Betty's voice kinda blended into the background, in my mind at least. I never played (or even watched gameplay) Mass Effect, so zero nostalgia for it. Now I'm clicking on random ships or stations every once in a while

been bored with x4 lately, browsing mods to add some spice, found and installed this on a whim

i dont have words to describe how something so simple could so entirely enhance and improve my gameplay experience

and no im not just a tali fanboy how dare you

This is so incredibly awesome. I can't believe something like this exists.

My only suggestion would be concerning volume - I can't hear her very well. Maybe its just me though. I'm never playing without this installed regardless.
