Hey! There are other mods you can use to set things like that. Also, for any inquiry and suggestion, you are better off asking the active maintainer which is the comment right below yours, I haven't written mods in a while.

Pardon me sir but would it be possible to have a minimum skill level for passion loss to occur?

I find that a 20 skill pawn is quite prone to dipping down to 19 before recovering and I'd rather they didn't risk losing passion for their work till they've dropped considerably further.

Because changing the about.xml means I need to install the game, install my mod, change 1 line in the code, push it on GitHub, go in game, update my steam workshop mod and edit the patches here. I simply don't want to invest my 30 minutes into that, purely out of laziness. If I come back to the game, I'll download it and do just that.

i don't have the files for the mod anymore, updating would require a lot of work on my part sadly, I honestly don't even know how to update it without the original key tbh. I'll look into it someday. It might work though? Try using it, see if it lets you play.

Originally, the mod didn't have any settings so I used floats to make it easier to calculate things in the code itself.

Later, someone else added the mod settings and submitted it on GitHub. I'm guessing they didn't change the values to int on the settings menu.

I stopped modding/playing this game so I'm probably not going to change it anytime soon but hopefully it doesn't annoy you that much :)

Good mod, makes the growth of a pawn more dynamic, no longer having 15 building but no passion

And a reset button, or at least description of the default values somewhere (even if it's here in steam) would be good, since once the settings are changed we have no way to restore other than editing mod files

@samonir It cannot be this mod, I haven't touched work givers at all.

@Igopt You can submit your push request on https://github.com/Capataina/PassionOnLevelUp if you want it to be added to the game.

@Marads~Yuuka I don't plan on adding losing interest to this mod, might make a separate mod that is more balanced towards vanilla playthroughs in the future. (Limit on which skills can have passion and how much passion they can have, other ways to increase/decrease passion and so on. Like maybe permanent brain damage could make the pawns lose passion in research (intelligence) and so on.)

How about adding a change of losing passion on something else? Like if you keep researching you might go from none to apathy on social.

I don't know if it's because of your mod or not, but after my pawns get their passion level up they always idle first then do research if there's nothing else to do besides research

Are there menu settings?
Really would like to set a maximum of passions so if they alrady have 2-3 etc. they will not gain more passions.

I get the concerns over balance, as I balanced this mod for my playthrough where my threat scale is 1250%.

Adding config menus in rimworld is painfully difficult as you have to draw everything using canvas which I'm not experienced in. I will try and lower the percentages soon, when I have free time, to make the mod more balanced. Currently im working on a bigger project.

It would be nice to have an options (Like minimal level for gaining passion, chances of it, etc.), mod is great and usefull but can't use it becaquse too OP in my opinion. Whole colony getting all skills with passion very soon, no difference between pawns, wealth growing also (easy to fill on 500%)
