i wish you kept updating the mod

the g64 has #1 market share because of a game i released and 2 weeks later the event for the collapse of the g64 in market share came doesnt make any sense

Is this compatible with the many consoles added in ExtendedGDT?

For all asking about modded consoles, I tried hard to solve, but was a problem with the way this game loads the mods, for some reason i was not able to froce this mod loads last, because i need a complete list of all consoles in the game, and sometimes some mods loads after this and I don't remember if the game crashed or simply the consoles don't work. I'm not sure if this happens always but I remember that sometimes with some mods loaded okay, you can try, but do save backup and be carefull.
And again, sorry to everybody with for now I don't have any plans to update this mod. Thank you for still using the mod. It's nice to kknow that i have have some impact in the hapinness of somebody

@Bandit Hi, yes as the other user said, if you have a top selling game this boost the market share of the console, so in future releases there will be more people having this console, for instance more ptential buyers. But now thsi mod is discontinued(has some errors that have to be fixed), sorry but now I'm totally in finish my studies and I don't have much time to get into modding again.

@Bandit It appears that the console you make the game for will go through it's pre-established life cycle, but will jump up in the market share above for further games (so there's no way of saving the DreamCast or Commodore64 or anything like that).

Does it change the market share permanatly or just until your game stops selling?

Man, I sure wish I can use this mod, but I have ExtendedGDT which adds consoles, so I am SOL. I wanted to tell you that you have a good mod anyways.

Can I ask what scores you need minimum for this to affect the platforms market share?

I definitely love the idea of this mod, the only reason I'm not using it yet is because I'm using multiple mods that add consoles. It's too bad if this problem is unsolvable because you have a really cool idea here

People never read the description and just download mods like they know what the fuck they are doing... Don't use console mods with this one. Read the fucking description. It is there for a reason...

DO NOT DOWNLOS THIS!!! It turns your Marketshare percentage into "NaN%", making you unable to tell which system has the most Marketshare. It also makes you unable to view your charts and use your percentage mod/mods.

Are you using other mods? If you use other mods which add more consoles to the game sometimes there are imcompatibilities, I can't solve this problem, because it comes from the way is code the loading process in the game.

After around 3 games the Marketshare turned to NaN

After I made about 5 games with this mod, the Marketshare turned into NaN

@SheoGabe Well.. To be fair, if you became a gaming juggernaught and sold top notch games time after time, I think it's only fair that you can dominate the market. (In my head, I imagine you going far beyond valve in releases but retaining their quality).

I don't like this mod because I developed for PC every time because it's cheapest. My games were good so PC's market share kept going up. It was eventually far abouve consoles so developing for other platforms became useless.

I'd love to see this mod extended to allow platforsm strong demograpics/genres to change based on the games you make for them.

@Mabb It's either this mod or the Finance Mod. I'm not subscribed to any other mods that could be changing it, as my only other subscription is one that displays what percentages of time you're using on each design section

If so, it still needs fixed so that it doesn't send that every week. It's annoying :/ Honestly I would be ok without ever seeing that notification at all, it doesn't add much and with this bug it's not really worth it.

Really want to use this, but Khan's expansion pack is a staple of the game for me now so I guess I can't.

Yes sometimes it confilcts with mods that add new platforms. But this is problem from the game I can't solve it, sorry.

No problems here so far and it seem to work as intended.
