JPC the mixels themselves aren't the problem, its the blatant lack of caring about making art, and only caring about getting some clicks.

Hello, it's me with an opinion! I'm not a fan of mixels, BUT I still respect people who want to use them. Mixels aren't bad just because people don't like them, it's still a form of art and creativity, and in some cases can be better than regular pixel art. Art is subjective, meaning if someone doesn't like something, someone else might. <--- penguin :)

imho it looks pretty cool! i know i'm not experienced or knowledgeable in this subject but I think it's neat. oh and @ankh the femboy , maybe consider that Shawdy3 really just wanted to do something for fun, and people liking it is just a side effect. And seriously, if you don't like the post then why spend so much time on this one post? why not just leave and don't look back? it makes no sense to me. First: While criticism is valuable, but he has no obligation to make his pack the way people prefer.
Second: On what grounds to you have for saying he's farming downloads.
Not sugarcoating is fine, but this is going beyond that.

Your criticism is not constructive, I indicated the presence of mixels from the very beginning because even though it doesn't look good, it has its own fans who don't care about it. I made this pack just because I can and this idea seemed funny. Stop continuing this senseless conflict and expect something incredible from those who do something for fun

CloudPhase just because i don't sugarcoat my criticism doesn't make it any less valid of criticism. Shawdy3 you knew there was something in your pack that is WIDELY considered to be an issue, and still decided to release it. it's obvious you didn't genuinely care about creating a quality pack, just getting a few downloads because "omg booba????".

CloudPhase calling out a lack of skill or bringing up that the sprites are repurposed is not an insult.

Ok, the reason I originally commented is because I agreed that mixels look bad, and I just found the way he put it kinda funny. But I feel like calling out the creator for a lack of skill or even stealing is a bit far.

Criticism and insults don't really mix well together, they just come off a petty.

okay but saying "this thing has a problem, if you don't like it that doesn't make it bad" doesn't make that problem not exist? and it doesn't mean you're immune to criticism. ask pretty much any reasonably respected pixel artist and they'd tell you that mixels don't look good.

also, why did you draw the sprite in the first place at the mixel resolution? the only reasons i can think of are an utter and complete lack of skill, or this sprite was taken from somewhere else.

Besides, the workshop is full of packs with mixels, and if you personally don't like it, it doesn't make the pack bad

@ankh the femboy For this i need to draw sprites from scratch in reduced resolution. if you talking about description, then this will not solve the problem
