Stupid me. I saw the Rotor and Hinge in the toolbar set to "On" And I thought it meant it was turned on. Turns out they were locked. D'Oh:steamfacepalm:

Can't Rotate or Elevate? Step 1: Ensure that every grid/sub-grid isn't set to station apart from the base. Step 2: OPTIONAL, Re-paste it and see if that fixes it. Step 3: OPTIONAL Remove weaponcore because it breaks everything vanilla based.

Also, this is on a world that uses SE WorldGen plugin.

So, I built this on an asteroid. When I take control, I can't get it to rotate or elevate. Both the rotor and hinge are turned on. :steamfacepalm:

That's the biggest problem with everything you'll find on the workshop now. Weaponcore breaks everything. Somehow, someway, Weaponcore breaks everything, especially in survival. Good to hear that you found a fix.

Got it working. Had to use the MultiGrid projector plugin to get it to work in Survival but it's working. I think the missing blocks thing was caused by WeaponCore replacing the railguns with its own versions thereof so had to add them separately after the tower was built. Other than that it's working fine.

@Babbayega @SoulDragonWithFlow I just loaded up stock Space Engineers, no plugin loader or anything, created a new Earth Planet save (didn't add any mods), and it pasted in just fine. It IS on your end.

Oh btw Babbayega, I've got 5.5k hours and I've been playing SE since 2010. Hours mean nothing for you bud.

Babbayega, there are absolutely NO MODS on this build what so ever. I know, I built this. You are experiencing user error of some kind. If you really wanna get into this then I need you to do one of two things. One, post a picture of the installation with the missing blocks visible. Two, DM me a picture the installation with the missing blocks visible. These are your only options because I have eliminated every possible factor that would originate from my end.

load a mod called mod list builder. it will show what mods you may not realize you have loaded, or were auto loaded with the world. but it is not vanilla/DLC only blocks.

saying this because at just over 3,800 hours in SE, i am pretty sure i know when a blueprint loads mods.. lol

Well, you've gotta have a mod on your world that is removing it, something isn't loading correctly on your end, or you don't have the DLC. I've had many friends run tests and they aren't seeing any problems. If you can identify exactly what blocks are missing or give me an idea of what is missing then I can look into it further. Apart from that there is nothing I can do.

Same problem as Babbayega. I'm new to SE and blueprints but I definitely have all the DLC etc but still get the 'some blocks missing' error.

No mods what so ever on any of my current AFP builds. Just gotta check your side of things.
