Yes, but I am not sure how often I will update it. Map work is tough, and I don't know how to properly do it, but yes, I'd ideally like to expand the map in places/increase the amount of provinces in places like Persia and India.

When i select it and start the game with it activated it doesn't work at all, its as if the game just ignores it and just loads regular CK2

Glad you tried the new updates. The consulship is very funky to work in ck2, we tried improving it but its still kinda WIP. should be playable though still.

I've downloaded your last version on the github. It's realy cool to see new flags also. But i don't understand how the two consulship function. It's seem that there are just 2 kingdom tier title with notnig more. Did i miss something or is it still in WIP ? Thanks you for your amazing work.

It could, but honestly I suck at uploading mods. Thats why I let folks use the Git if they can't get steam to work.

Check your .mod file, make sure the path line in it matches what the folder is for the mod. Alternatively, get the Github download and try that with it.

Just put the Diadochi Kings folder and the Diadochi Kings .mod file out of the zip, into your mods folder. The other ones are older folders for testing stuff. I too am glad folks are enjoying these!

that said, if i were to install the mod via github, how should go about that, step by step? which .mod files should be put in the ck2/mods folder? should the Rick Work ones be used at all?

No and there should be none in there either when uploading.

Yes, the standard one with "path=", as with any non-Steam mod.

I didnt suggest that.

I short :
When uploading, no "descriptor" file anyhwere and outside the mod files folder a standard *.mod file with "path" inside.

This uploading is insanity. Ok, I have made a seperate folder from the dev/github one, does it use the .mod file inside the folder or the one in my ck2/mods folder? I have never had to change it from path to archive, because wouldn't that misfire when I am loading to publish while the game is going?

I have named the folder diadochikings and did the same for the .mod file. Going to try to upload this again. Thx for explaining, its just tough to get it right. I never was an uploader of mods because I hate the process but now I have to be because other devs who did it are gone.

Not to mention that in one of the two Diadochi Kings descriptor files at "path" Diadochi Kings is written with capital letters. IF that's the case in your uploaded *.mod file, it would be better to look exactly as the folder name in lower case. Best would be "diadochikings" for folder and *.mod file.

@tsf4 There are two descriptor files.
Should only be one, which gets created by Steam.
The *.mod file created has "path" instead of "archive" in it.

Are you uploading a folder with a descriptor file already inside ?

Take the .mod file out of the Diadochi Kings folder and put it in your ck2/mods folder.

Steam bungs up these .mod files.

@ancient I would recommend manually installing the mod through Github for now. There was some Steam issues.

It's not working for me - I'm using 3.3.5.1 (I believe, so it should work), and have no other mods installed. I made sure it installed, too, and tried to launch multiple times but the base game always comes on

It's stunning, just what I hoped for when I first downloaded the previous version from the workshop a few years back. Will need to learn the ropes as a few things seem to be different from nilla and other mods, will post any major bugs I come across. All in due time.

Your welcome! We have modeled this through retinues, like the Greeks getting pikeman troop bonuses, persians getting knight/heavy cav bonuses, nomads getting horse archers, and nubians getting elephants. Check the retinue subunits folder out, and you'll see them :)

I'm not sure, you'd have to try and see. this mod was originally made in 2014, so it could work fine without them.
