Is tag extraction from map a clean method or it requires a bit of knowledge to assemble files into tags ?

Yeah, I purposely put no grunts in there cause I wanted to showcase brutes, skirmishers and jackals. And sniper jackals are balanced. Their accuracy was increased in order to compensate for their lack of damage. Focus rifle jackals may need to be nerfed though, and I think the increase in brutes on normal and heroic doesn't make much of a challenge with all of the precision weapons I included in the mod. My full-game mod will include elites, grunts, and other enemies but this mod was more of a test to these tags and creating somewhat of a map that would go in my full-game. Also, on your no rank-and-file enemies point, there are a ton in the mod. I made every grunts from the original CE+ mod into a skirmisher. Jackals with shields aren't as common, but they are still there. Brutes seemed to easy to me on heroic and normal so I bumped up the difficulty insanely on legendary to compesate for the easy other difficulties. Glad you enjoyed it though, I hope you stay to play my full game mod

And not all of the tags were from source releases either. Some were extracted from other maps or scenarios

They are modified heavily quite a bit, and a lot of the tags are SPV3 old tags that were corrupted and that I had to modify after Masterz1337 sent them to me. TSC:E tags are also modified, though they are similar to how they are. MA5K model was extracted and the weapon was custom made.

Played normal mode in coop, you got an amazing idea putting all this stuff into this map, very nice
100% of the tags you used are available, not modified and listed in the credits ? I think I'll make a collection with it

Yup, I said that legendary is really hard. I just made it super hard on purpose to see how I liked a halo 2 type legendary. I've spent 30+ minutes on that same drone part on legendary, its actually cancer. It'll probably get toned down in my full game mod because it's honestly way too hard. Normal legendary stats were too easy though, but it seems I may have ramped it up too far

Mod is good but some arts are pure cancer on legendary. For example the first drone area, where you"re sandwiched between them and the brutes are a pain in the ass. Also, when you go back to the spawn area later in the level, and kill the armada of enemies that can easily one shot you, and after you kill the chieftan, you don't get a checkpoint. I'd say make legendary more fair, and this mod is perfect. just pissed off rn

Yeah, I'm well aware, haha. Like I said, I was a tester for SPV3 in its final updates, and I'm on the team for Halo Legacies -- so I understand it won't happen officially, ever.

Yeah, definitely. It would be so much work, and the SPV3 team already said they have no plans of ever trying to port SPV3 into MCC. Most of them are working on other mods right now, so it guess it'll just be a fever dream forever. Though I hope my mod can remind people a bit of SPV3

Definitely a pipe dream here, but would be cool if MCC was even capable of supporting the in-depth scripting and such available with Chimera/OpenSauce for CE -- not just for CE, but all the games.
Having SPV3 on MCC would be phenomenal, especially to someone like me that was a beta tester/bug reporter for it -- but my god, the absolute undertaking it'd require.

I know, I helped with SPV3 to a small degree, but every now and then I do wish someday someone can somehow make it work.

Not to mention every scenario file has to be rebulit from scratch as the originals are corrupted inside of HCEEK. The work load would be insane

SPV3 on MCC would take a lot of work, way too much work. New scripts for every mission would need to be made as SPV3 was only made for Singleplayer, so every mission would need to be changed. Weapon functionality is also different, as some weapons that functioned in SPV3 cannot function in MCC due to HCEEK's limits. Flood is a whole different issue with them not being able to infect living bodies due to MCC limits again, overall its just better to play the original in its fullest.

I would be fine with it looking this way if someone actually put SPV3 on MCC, I wouldn't mind the downgrade if it's as good as it can get.

Yeah, this is about as close as you can get to SPV3, a lot of stuff cannot be ported in due to HCEEK limits compared to Open-Sauce(the tool used to make SPV3). A lot of tags are from SPV3, just modified and changed to fit one mod which encompasses many new and different weapons.

I'll admit, this perhaps comes pretty close to SPV3 style. Just wish somebody would do it this way so people can enjoy it here and in coop.
