I will remove it at your request.
How this would work right, is it would activate sun damage between random intervals and there could be config options for 'minTimeBetweenSunDamage', 'maxTimeBetweenSunDamage', minLengthSunDamage', & 'maxLengthSunDamage'
I think it would be better that way, because you would quickly get tired of seeing warnings when nothing is actually threatening.
{MyVi....tyId);} (I think you can figure out what to put in brackets here.
I hope the author won't mind.
My opinion is that at values of atmosphere close to the Earth's atmosphere, i.e. 1, there should be no damage at all. In space, on a satellite, or lower atmospheres, all hands in favor of reasonable complication.
In addition, the mechanics of scattering radiation damage on planets works very strange (I understand how it works, but in looks maximally not logical and not realistic). In space it's the opposite.
Yes. Min damage is intentional thing.
Starting a new game with this on earthlike and I am getting a small amount of damage outside on the planets surface (in the sun) is that intentional? I expected no damage due to "Reduction Ratio by Atmo=1"
Really like this mod though and looking forward to the extra challenge of working in space!
Why?
The Sun is a deadly Laser!
Not anymore there is a blanket.
Nice.
Just kidding. We dont have blankets here, Thanks Keen :L
I'd like to create multiple different playstyles in one server, and this is a good one that some people are interested in.
Did you even read the description?
No.
Why?
THE SUN IS A DEADLY LASER.
is there a way to turn off the hud warning?
I had the thought that combining this with that aerodynamics/deadly reentry mod would be extremely interesting. As in, the damage is delivered instead through heating. I can imagine needing to rotate your ship occasionally to prevent thermal damage (and needing to set your stations on slow rotations with gyro override) if you don't have good enough heat shielding. Solar panels becoming far less useful as a result is problematic though.
It's a place where the sun is very bright and deadly.
