In my opinion, yes still necessary, I've just test without this compatibility patch, and there are UI errors

Is this still necessary? It should function with the new version of Tech-Tree compilation as I believe its structure should have remained the same, is that correct? Maybe the author could adjust the req items and clarify.... Thx! <3
