Actually, the "Big Boy" chalk was first written on the prototype, engine 4000. Sadly, 4000 was scrapped so perhaps 4014 inherited it's chalk for it's excursion career.

yeah is because that letter was only used for 4014 because it was restored to operational condition, which i assuming UP decided to put Big Boy lettering on the smoke door during the restoration

The last modification option that is missing so far is the "Big Boy" chalk on the smoke box door. I mean, it's name was literally born from that writing.

fun fact they were gonna be called the Wasatch type but an unnamed employee wrote "big boy" on the boiler and the name stuck ever since

I would absolutely love to see some brand new UP passenger cars to go with these. As nice as having brand new locomotives is, let alone two that I personally really wanted (a new FEF-3, and more importantly, the Challenger), it would be absolutely worth it to have a set of Union Pacific passenger cars for these two to pull.

I've been trying to fix a bug where the alternate versions of the mods don't have custom sounds. If this mod disappears from a save, this is why. Sorry!

These look amazing. I just wish Rolling Line has alternatives to the default coupler. They pretty ugly on this beautiful locomotives.
