Is the mod still working correctly ? I read comments in general discussion that it removed attacks completely regardless of % set. Worth taking a look at it ?

I noticed that the mod need to be configured at every game load, just entering in the mod option move the slider one step and back then confirm, otherwise it seems to be disabled everytime and the waves come at full quantity.

Sorry to say this mod does not work on my game quite a pity really because this mod alone would make the game much more playable. I do have other mods on but according to the description that is no problem. I have tried it Crash Landing with a new and old game, also with Outpost new and old game. At the moment I am in outpost new game with this mod set to zero and I am still being attacked by a couple of hundred bugs in a very early game.

The game itself maintains the mod settings, and they should always be saved. Are you certain that you pressed "Apply" after adjusting the settings?

That's been my experience pretty consistently with the mod. Changing the setting doesn't usually affect the wave that immediately follows having changed it, but it does affect the ones after that.

That is strange. How much time passes between the loading of the save and the spawning of the wave? The wave size could be calculated up to a couple of in-game hours before the actual spawning of the wave, so it may have already been decided and saved.

I restarted the game, checked that the mod is enabled (it was), and whatever the size I set, I tried 25, 100 and 200, I get exactly the same number of bugs.

Yes, I see the mod working in all cases that I can think of, including loading of old savegames.

Try restarting the game, in case the mod update wasn't properly downloaded the last time you launched it. Also, did you check that the mod is enabled in the manager?

It should be, the underlying values are set as soon as the pregame menu loads and then updated if you tweak the mod option in the Options menu. I would double check, though.

It seems your mod does'nt work properly.
I launched a new game, wave size set to 50% and get 15 bugs. Thinking it seemed too much for a first 50% wave, I loaded a save a few hours (game time) before the attack, set the wave size to 25% and get exactly the same number of bugs.
At least it could mean that you cannot change the wave size of a saved game.

The ApplyModOptions message is now triggered individually for each mod you possess. I had to update my functions to verify whether the message was triggered by them.

Everything should be functioning properly now.

That's an interesting question, @Jaggid Edje.

I'm not sure if I can directly adjust the primary cooldown between attacks. However, I can certainly add an option to modify the minimum guaranteed time between attacks.

Have you you considered adding a mod option slider to adjust the attack wave frequency to this mod? It seems like a natural fit.

I imagine plenty of players would like the ability to scale up or down the cooldown between attacks, independently of the current system where it is tied to difficulty/moon/progress and not adjustable mid-playthrough.

Hi, @Zatio! Mods can add new options to the game's Options menu. Look for this one's options in ESC >> Options >> Mod Options >> Attack Wave Size Modifier.

Hi, @Moyocoya! I checked how the modifier behaved in several of my old savegames but didn't notice issues. Maybe, Steam hadn't downloaded my compatibility fix the first time you launched the game. I'm glad that it works for you now.

Hey, how do options for mods like this work? I see no clear way to click any kind of options for it. When i go to mod manager it allows me to enable or disable mods not click any options for any of them.Where do you go to set mod options?

What don't work : your mod just don't work with my saved games.
So I tried a new game (Sobrius+Concordia+intermediate level), set the waves size at 25% : I got 16 bugs in the first attack. I think it's the size of a vanilla regular first wave isn't it ? 25% should be less than that.

Would you be up for creating the new script for robots? Would make the earlier part of the Hope mission more bearable when playing at high difficulty, especially with Chaos Moon. :)

The mod doesn't reduce the number of shieker hatchlings. So far, that's the only thing it seems to miss.
