I use this mod frequently on my own games, it still works. If you're having issues check your game cache and check your addons to make sure nothing is conflicting with it.

You need to start it from the mutations menu. Please read the description before leaving comments.

The mod isn't outdated, it still works. Check your addons to make sure there isn't a conflict with something else.

The scripts still work on my game and I haven't altered anything that should break it, it's possible you might have a conflict with another addon. Check your addon list.

EarlyBird, yes it is, but luckly you can use the vpk.exe in L4D2 Authoring Tools to edit, add or remove the stuff so it's all good.

I can't make it work on games that you start from the campaign menu, sorry. But there's an easy way to essentially play it as a SP local server... Just start the mutation, set it to friends only, add a password, and start it as a local server.

I've tried it and unfortunately it didn't work, the only way to simulate a single player experience is to create a local server, set it to friends only, and put your friends temporarily offline (or password the server)

Not sure then, my only guess is that something else is interfering with it. I tested these before I uploaded them, so I know they work.

There are no changes made to the game in this mod that would crash it, it's just the alteration of a few client variables. I don't know what's actually crashing your game but it's not this.
