I've been looking for a mod like this for a while, the armour looks great and has decent stats, good for anyone wanting a set of heavy armour in the elvish style with a different colour scheme.

Not sure if anyone else has encountered this, or if it was just my own game, but the armor was controlled by my light armor skill, not heavy armor. All the perks for light armor controlled how the armor worked. I don't know if that has been a problem for anyone else, but it happened to me. Just wanted to let you know and see if that had been a problem.

how did you get those sword positions

People with SkyRe all custom armour and weapons are usuable, just run the SkyRe "ReProccer.jar" it will bring the armour values and weapon damage up to SkyRe levels.

this is a great mod i cant use it since i have skyre but for a normal playthrough this is a really good armor mod for light armored warriors!

@Almost politically correct hick: The stats of the armor is changed to be similiar to steel. So there's that.

I don't like that this is just a recolor.

If you could do something to the model, that would be cool.

@That thing under your bed: Steel Plate is the higher tier of steel armor, and looks like the stereotypical medieval knight armor. The "plain steel armour" is the nordic looking variety that is above iron and below dwarven in effectiveness.

Looks nice, but I think the stats should be better. Not much reason to choose it over other armors as it is.

although its stats are lower this armour is amazing. you should make more armours like this for example deadric armour and dragonsacale and galsss armour and dragonbone also ebony and leather. just astounding ur idea just plsss make more

when you say similar in stats to steel plate what do you mean by that? its weaker than plain steel armour and only one point less than regular steel in weight, if anything its just a cosmetic change not much of a protective armour later on unless ya enchant the crap out of it.

Is there anyway you can make this compatble with Skyrim Refone on that one my armor plate chest has a rating fo 105 and this armor is only 38. Is there a way you cna make one that is compatable with skurim redone as far as armor stats i can send you the numbers of you want not and issue just let me now be nice and all.

@xXPhantomCookieXx make sure you have vsync enabled through the .ini files. if vsync is turned off it can cause lots of problems with characters dying in that scene. other then that try using some of the other starts from LAL the "i was camping in the woods" starts you right behind helgen after the dragon attacks and allows you to choose to save either ralof or hadvar, if you want a very vanilla start.

This would be good, but the teture of the armor is exctly like the texture of normal Elven.

@xXPhantomCookieXx Are you sure it's this mod that causes the problem? Disable the mod, and see if the game loads up correctly. It may just be your game is overloaded with mods. Sorry but it seems unlikely that a simple armour mod would cause such a large issue.

I'm getting a bug with this mod sadly, It's been making to where when I start a new game it won't even get to it, or when ever I use a mad called "Live Another Life" and choose what I want it'll make it where I'm sitting the the carrige, And I can't move I'd have to resurrect my character to fix it, so if you can find a way to fix it tell me please.

@Gracko15 No, this is armour is player only, and I'm sorry, the likelihood of a closed-face helmet is low, as I have neither the time, energy, nor patience to learn how to mesh.

Will Thalmor Soldiers you find use this? That would be awesome. And if the helmet could have closed face to further differentiate it from the light version (at least for the non-beast races), like it was suggested in one of the comments, that would be cool too!

very handy useful for my 5th follower who uses heavy armour i like to have all my followers have different armour this one is a great addition. btw draagonscale is best light armour and deadric armour is best heavy but dragonbone swords are most powerful skyrim FTW
