Hey maybe also add into the description that the amount of stuff a crew member carries increases aswell. (Nugget size)
Quite important for optimizing ships, so very confusing when your crew members suddenly are able to carry 10 shells instead of only 2.
(Also is there a way for you to make a patch mod that reduces the carry size back to the vanilla stats?) Or can i try to do that myself?)

But I need new stack graphics, though I don’t have time at the moment. If anyone feels like it, they’re welcome to make them — I’d be happy to include them in the mod (for the new items).

It works normally as of me, the stacked items both appear properly and display the proper amount, the mod wasn;t update since 2023, safe to say it's quite, abounded

How's the progress going on releasing to 0.30? I know new update came out like 3 days ago, but I'm just wanting to see how much time it may take for the mod to update

@James_C and others: while it won't have the actual sprites for the increased sizes, you can manually update the stack size on the individual resources to match what this mod does. I just did so and tested it and it works.

I think there is a way to alter enemies drop, without reducing player's drops; looks like fixed in this mod, but ammo should get PlayerStorageDestroyed = 0% instead of 50%, because ammo explodes
Also, the enemy's 0.1x drop penalty can be completely circumvented by claiming the wreckage and then transfering the cargo, you get 100% of the increased stacks. This seems impossible to fix, I'll just avoid doing it myself.

Ah, I forgot that Warstalkers mod was maintained here and posted a possible solution to those 'resource lost' problems in the comments over there. Maybe Spartana wants to have a look at it? As far as I can see in this versions files, the two lines I mentioned are missing here as well.

I put 100 steel in a container with a port on it and blew it up, (without crew construction) and after it blew up and collected everything if I got 100% it should have been 100+48+8 steel and 5 coils. I got a total of 49 steel after salvaging right after it blew up. So don't expect much cargo to survive I don't know if not having this mod is any different. If I abandon it and disassemble it, I got all the construction costs back but I lose 90 of the cargo in the process, this makes sense because it treated the 10x as 1x. So that's still not ok I guess because a salvage wreck will lose any "compressed" cargo even if it survived the attack.

And only if you let the little guys do the deconstruction. If you turn on "I hate crew construction" no resources are lost, they get instantly teleported to a new empty slot.

Looks like, it doesn't matter what's in the storage when it's disassembled, all resources inside are lost. So you have to empty the storage completely first if you want to disassemble it. I don't know if that means if it's blown up you lose everything too.

plus if you are trying to take over a ship for its resources best to take out the control or power then take over the ship or station lot of tasty morsels in that one

when you are building a ship you got to not delete the stored items in order to use them and not lose them

Same issue. Tried making ship modifcations in blueprint mode and I'm losing almost all my resources when it deletes and rebuilds my storages.

Tried to remake a storage into a bigger storage and had more then enough to do it but my iron that was in the same storage was deleted.

Loading error with the version is nothing special if other bugs occur I will fix them .... the actual mod developer will not develop this mod further

True just let it be known that there is a side effect that causes you to lose your items. So that people aren't left as sad and confused as i was when i redesigned my ship lol

don't change it just warn people about it, ive deleted so much resources upgrading ships thinking ive had the resource then loosing it to this not realising this was a problem with the mod

the question i ask myself is why do you destroy a full warehouse ? you can also move things around and trade them from ship a to ship b and move the show internally as well

the problem is if i change the drop rate it will also change what enemy ships drop and since they are always spawned with max stack size it would destroy the games balance because you are getting pelted with stuff

If the universe is already created, there is no need to override the drop_rates.rules. You should reset them to their initial values. Otherwise what ends up happening is : you destroy/salvage a storage on your ship, and you divide the content you had by like 10.
