This is quite literally the best unusual effect I have EVER seen.
This absolutely needs to be in the game.

Thanks for the feedback all! :) As for the line that was mentioned a few times, I wanted this effect to really show off the color black and have the main color be black with some accented colors to distinguish between variants. The main colored "line" in this instance was meant to add some contrast to the darkness, and in these promo images, the background color I chose really makes it stand out a bit intensely. I understand the concerns with it, and seeing it in these images really does make it seem intense. However, after testing on multiple maps in-game and under various lights, the line really doesn't show up as intensely as you might expect and blends nicely with the smokey darkness. I'll try to get some good footage to show off the contrast to see if that helps change any opinions on it, and I also want to mention that if this effect does get accepted officially and the line is still a point of contention, I have no problems changing it if need be (and Valve willing).
