I think the events placing Georgian Culture into the Byzantine group somewhat broke this mod.
if you select conversion all the time. and you then complete the mission "Reconquer Bulgaria."
you get Bulgarian ass accepted culture and then immediately you trigger "Insincere Acceptance" for all provinces with Bulgarian culture.
this will then trigger every few months and continue to do this even if you convert all provinces with Bulgarian culture
could we change the mission so it detects your selection of acceptance or conversion. ?
This mod isn't updated for the new patch, so possibly
Turkish -> Tourkoi
South Slavic (Except Albanian) -> Slavonian
Albanian -> Albanian
Syrian -> Syriac
Mashriqi -> Assyrian
Egyptian -> Coptic
There's been a lot of discussion about this mod and the suggestions they represent, and I think that's great, as a one man show I could never assume to get it right or have a perfect proposal for how to handle. I'm working on a smaller mod right now after a short break, but when that comes out I may return to this mod and work on making parts of it clearer, and maybe changing some of the tensions between acceptance and conversion.
Aka, if I convert the Balkans to Greek, will that eventually flip into Slavonic the same way cultures work in the Third Odyssey mod, or is it best to just accept the cultures and wait for the them to flip?
Also, if I choose the convert path, do events fire to slowly convert the provinces, or do I need to manually convert them to Greek first?
Regardless, very cool mod set, I like how they are all tailored to how Byzantium existed in the last century instead of how they were earlier. I'm looking forward to your mods developing in the future and having content for what a growing Byzantine state in 1600s speculative history might look like instead of the vanilla path of merely restoring ancient Roman Empire culture like nothing has changed in 1000 years.
If not, is there a way to convert them more easily like the asia minor coast or cappadocia regions?
Also thanks for the heads up about the Bithynians.
