I haven't actually played B42 or browsed the workshop for B42 mods outside of uploading updates for either of my mods, so I'm unsure whether there is a mod dedicated to sitting/laying. :(
I'm unsure if they have any plans to update it while B42 is on the unstable branch, or in general. They do have a link on the mod page here that you could look for some answers though. Searching that server for B42 related info could prove helpful.
Hope that helps!
In any case, I'm glad to know that your mod works, and thank you for your response :)
If you're on B42, this could be a bug with PZ since its still on the unstable branch.
Let's say my character has a good night's sleep and wakes up to an alarm in the morning. After walking around the room for a while and reaching the clothes on the floor, my character may fall asleep while I'm putting them on. This can last for 5 hours or indefinitely, until I reload the save.
I tried to explain it by saying that there's a scenario where the character "briefly wakes up" in the middle of the night and successfully falls back asleep. I can remember that, but not when you've been up for about half an hour.
Strange things are happening.
In the 'Sleep' context options tooltip, it'll show you your characters comfort level. The lower that is, the worse their sleep quality will be/the less fatigue and exertion you'll recover from sleeping.
If this is truly an incompatibility, and you find out which one was the cause in the future, please do report that in the future!
As for mods that do handle outfits, Easy Outfits and Clothing Preset are two I remember that implement an outfit system to Zomboid. Should do the job, but I have never used them so I cannot say for certain.
No worries at all! Not a waste of time, I'm here to help get the mod working properly for those who choose to install it :)
Sorry for wasting your time.
When you right click the bed, it'll show up when you hover over 'Sleep'. No clicking is required to see the tooltip beyond a single right click to bring up the context menu.
I can provide a screenshot or two in a few hours to help if that will help?
I think i got the grip of the mod. I finally made the moodlet dissapear by dropping all clothing and backpacks and made him sleep naked.
A pillow must be within 1 tile of where the character is standing while sleeping to provide its comfort effect. You will know its close enough when the tooltip says ''Pillow Nearby: Yes'.
Alarms, whether by watch or alarm clock, work as intended and wake the player up at the specified time. If not, that is a bug with vanilla that should be addressed game-wide and not through a patch by a mod.
You can make them the same, yes, just uncheck the sandbox option "Force Awake If Snug As A Bug", should be under the "Comfy Sleeping - General" tab in your sandbox options.
To answer the question though, you can disable being forced awake at low levels of fatigue (max comfort effectively prevents oversleeping). The option you're looking for should be 'forceAwakeIfSnug', should be in the 'ComfySleeping - General' tab in your sandbox options.
Hope this helps!
You're welcome!
