It's working just fine for me. Went thru and unsubscribed and resubscribed to all mods I'm running. Just played and this one is working.

I'll try to look into it a bit tomorrow. i've been lacking motivation to work on my mods but i have some free time to look into it. if its an easy fix i should have an update out tomorrow night, but im out of touch with most of the b42 changes, especially on the modding side.

I can't get this to work on my ALICE belt & suspenders for some reason. It says there's 1 upgrade slot but won't let me use it.

@alp15 im playing with custom rules, all item spawn are in extremely rare (idk how it calls but the lowest) and backpacks and something like this in dont spawn so the game are hard to me in the start

@ZeroTwo.exe yes, but that depends on how hard you want to play the game. You can play a simple metropolitan citizen and the challenge can make the game even better. I love this mode because I'm incredibly impatient with hoarding items.

@alp15 Is there anyone who doesn't use the organized trait? It's almost a mandatory trait in any game, just like the “Dextrous” trait.

@ZeroTwo.exe It's okay; someone claimed I was lying, so I wrote them back. I can use the mod without any problems. Let me reiterate one last time: organized trait is a must. I used the parameters in the last image for the Clothbag upgrade feature. Please examine the images I shared. This mod is the only one that has bags enabled in my game.

Recipes show they use only 3 units of thread but when you craft something it uses the whole thing

@Dr. Lalaoz The only part of the mod that works for me is the weight reduction. No matter what capacity upgrade I put, the space doesn't increase at all in any backpack.

Getting spammed with warnings in console about resetting the bags capacity, is there a way to turn off auto update after it has been enabled? I think it's causing a lot of lag in my game.

Can you please override the ALICE Belt and Suspenders' per-item cap somehow? ... to be at least somehow proportional to the capacity/reduction etc - i would really love to take my utilities like hammer, hatchet, etc, but cannot :(

im having an issue with the fanny pack (1 base capacity, 1 Upgrade Slot).
i tried adding a cloth upgrade, which should result in a (1*15%)+1=2.15, or at least 2 capacity when rounded.

however, the capacity is still 1 after applying the upgrade. Upgrading a regular backpack works as expected.

to anyone wondering, this mod is somewhat incompatible with Customized Containers. the upgrades of capacity do not work, but encumbrance reduction (straps) do.

@Dr. Lalaoz You can refer to some codes in Bag Upgrade Plus mod, which may be real-time update capacity or breaking limit. Running your mod alone cannot increase capacity.

The capacity of any backpack in the original version cannot be directly upgraded through this mod. You need to use the upgraded backpack in the Bag Upgrade Plus mod first, and then use the upgrade option of this mod to increase the capacity.:steamhappy:

i'm not sure what went wrong, but since B42.10 this mod has stopped working. Any kind of bag upgrades does not increase the capacity of the backpack whatsoever.

This is an excellent mod, but since the latest game update I have found no materials that upgrade the pack nor can I make them as I did before. Must be so frustrating as a mod creator to constantly adapt to the game upgrades (sad). Backpacks with no upgrades makes it so hard to lift the many items that are 40 pounds.

You find upgrade items to attach to existing backpacks or bags. you'll need a needle and thread, as well as one of the upgrade items, which can be crafted or looted.
The mod should work on any kind of inventory container object, but in b42 they hard capped the bag capacity size to 50 for some reason. theres a way to work around it, i just don't know what it is. i haven't touched the mod in a while.

When you are an organizer you can exceed the limit of 50, it works. The unbearable lightness of hanging out in a truck with a sports car :)

When you upgrade backpacks it adds additional slots to them. What can you even put there? I have tried everything and nothing works.

It seems to be a bit broken at the moment. I have this bug where if I go too high on the weight it makes my character move as if they are over encumbured even though their carrying weight is at like 9%. It would be amazing if this could be fixed, as I really like this mod.

Hey when I have the Knife Removes Upgrades option enabled, I get an error every time that I try to open the crafting menu. The crafting menu will fail to open at all with this option enabled. I'm on latest unstable build. took me forever to find this issue, since the error itself doesn't mention this mod, but says there's a Vanilla LUA issue. :deadweight:
