As long as the mod is activated it should be working. You can try restarting your game or reselecting the default preset.

All warnings are given in the description. I've done everything I can and have asked people way more knowledgeable than me if there was anything else I could have done to increase the performance of the mod and they had no other ideas

Be more specific please, enable the mod in the mod manager and it will start working with default settings.

It's suppose to be really laggy, thats why the ingame screen recorder only records active frames so you can get very crisp videos with no lag.

I forgot a step it seems, need to make sure you place the debris void in Debris Manager.

However note that Nuclear Explosives RDS Edition did get an update that allows air bursts, so it now tries to damage more downwards and that can contribute to lag.

As for how you can recreate it.

Small Debris Retainer:
Retain Minimum Voxel Size: 6
Small Debris Deletion Threshold: 15000
Retain Percent: 100%
Render when far: True

Nuclear Explosives RDS Edition:
Make sure its the RDS Edition and not the regular version
Make sure you have shockwave damage turned on.
Turn off screenshake (Optional)
Use the Tsar Bomba (No Flash)
Place it in the center of Russian Town 6 Summer
Detonate it when all other steps are complete

Debris Manager:
Set "Clear Outside Borders" and "Clear Unbroken" to true in Debris Manager's Debris B-Gone Tool (Game will crash much easier if you don't do this)

Computer:
Be able to not crash with this amount of destruction even while using Debris Manager.

Basically if the number of physical objects goes above about 20000 then the physics get very flinging and seem to carry the momentum of the player. What prevent fling does is it counts every physical body on the map and deletes small debris retained by SDR so that it drops below a threshold of about 15000 physical objects.

Also when I use the word "physical" I mean non-static objects.

Checkout Nuclear Explosives RDS Edition by Rainbow to get that type of explosion from the nukes in the mod. I also recommend Debris Manager and setting up debris barrier and debris void through the debris b-gone tool. As its very helpful having debris deleted as it exits the map to preserve performance.

@Doomdrvk I didnt get any message on discord. About the problem, it seems to work 90% and i notice after a lot of restarts on one map, it doesnt work any more. The only other mod about debris i have is debris at peace

@Mozzi I've messaged you on discord (if thats you), the mod is functioning fine for me so I believe you have a mod interfering or have improperly configured the mod.
I recommend you set your settings back to the default preset and see if that resolves it.
Otherwise I need to know if you're using my other mod Debris Manager or Performance Mod 3.1 or any other performance enhancing mod.

Teardown is the ultimate Benchmark test for a newly built or brought gaming PC

I'd actually rather use teardown than the actual benchmarking softwares

Think about it, Use this mod, alongside structural integrity and the thicc fire and smoke mod, maybe use a nuke, test it on a detailed map with a building that has electricity, props, extras, sounds and more than one floor and you'll have the perfect test

If you PC can handle all of that, and be screen recording for a video at the same time to take these screenshots, You know you are among the ones with god tier builds.

The mod simply stops smaller debris from being deleted automatically by the game. By recreating the debris with the new api. There is some slight discoloration but the debris is too small to notice. This is because the textures aren't copied over perfectly and this is a limitation in the game currently.

@virgboudet as soon as the mod is activated it should begin working. There are some additional options which can improve performance or can reduce performance and add small debris.
