I agree, been testing the mod for a bit, out of 40 sent out caravans, I've only like like 6-8 successful ones. They keep getting intercepted by full strenght rogue armies that complete decimate them. At least you can adjust it in-game.

The initial troops of the caravan were so bad that they simply couldn't withstand more than two attacks. This made it impossible for some long-distance trade routes to reach them, and the profits from these routes were often not high

Great Mod. tested with MCT, Mixu's Unlocker, IEE and this mod at Tyrion through turn 10, AI are not spawning Caravans. I believe this is an IEE issue. Which is a shame because it supports IEE with destinations.

Side note on balance, the 10+ turn destinations never seem to have enough value to be worth sending a caravan unless you are just scouting new trade partners. Need increased rewards or shortened durations, maybe caravans going to Cathay go through sea lanes?

Any chance we could add in an MCT option to quarter rogue pirate sizes? Even half size is not possible to deal with sometimes with fresh caravans since they usually contain several T5 monsters.

@16jsundberg : Some sea regions are marked "No replenishment or recruitment allowed." (mouse-over to see) In those regions no ship can replenish. But in all the other sea regions you only need level 3 of Hidden Stores, as TWilliam said.

I don't know if the lanes are planned out in regards to how often each lane stops in one of these "replenishment not allowed" regions. But it certainly makes things a bit harder!

PS: Love this mod. Obligatory for HE, DE and V-coast!

Can someone give some advice? The convoy system for every other faction whether the old world, Chorfs or Cathay is sustainable atm because once you reach a certain level, you can allow your convoys to replenish in foreign territory. With the High Elves though, you can't really do that because you can't replenish at sea. Is there a mod or option that addresses this? Otherwise my convoys get worn down from random ambushes and encounters at sea without that option.

@TheFirstThunder : if you already have the Lothern landmark you shouldn't be looking for this anymore. You can get another +1 to limit from technology "Maritime Empire". Limit 3 is maximum. If you want more, you can install this mod

I couldn't find how to do that last time I look, and I already have the last tier of Ulthuan capital. I'll search all available constructions again to see if I can find it.

It would help a lot if you could mention which High Elf constructions are able to increase the convoy limits.

@Twilliam I'm playing with Tyrion and everything works perfectly. I really like how the other elven factions also use your mechanic to send ships, and how the island feels so much more alive with ships coming and going. Thanks, man.

Is it possible to upgrade the number of active convoys? I can only send one at a time and I can't find a way to add more simultaneous convoys.

Ok, I've disabled [GLF] Hero Expansion金花英雄拓展 and the English translation mod and now it works. Can you added to the list of know conflicts?

@Rabies : you most likely have a mod that breaks the campaign scripts. Caravan masters without armis is the most visible issue. It can break other faction echanics too

Anyone have an issue with hiring a new Convoy Master and when the Convoy is sent out he does not have the troops he is suppose to come with in the army? Its just the convoy leader all on his own.

Thank you so much for this mod! It really is a mod I can't play without.
Just want to share that I can have up to 4 convoys at a given time.
1 at start, 1 through tech, 1 through Finubar mod, 1 by landmark(?)

Well, I'm glad there are no other nuances. Rolling back to 6.13 caused crashes for me due to the use of mods made for the latest version. Yesterday, I copied the coordinates from the old world caravan mod randomly for myself. I think this should be done for all mods with sea caravans, because I want to use all of them. When randomly copying coordinates, the routes turned out to be funny, but since I did it purely for myself, I think it will be enough for me.

I'll be testing it. Thanks for the fantastic mod.

so, the solution to crashes on 6.14 is to change the coordinates in the db table of routes so that convoys do not go by sea, right?
