Damn son, I didn't know I was supposed to buy a welding mask and keep it on my desk
Just like looking into a lamp, the area around doesnt become darker, it just appears so.
Thank you.
So far the player speed doesnt seem to be exposed in an easy to alter way yet.

so thanks for that reminder :3
I however published the texture removal version aswell now http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=299651075
I hope that pleases you.
Chev, how about this version? http://youtu.be/SAY88oqdbqI
That is the version without a texture. I guess it cant get any darker than that because the welders light emission seems to be hardcoded (unless i missed something).
I will however upload a video in a few minutes that shows the current setting for comparison.
But that sure requires you to be the server host and that you add the mod to your server so that it pushes the mod to you as client.
It wont work if the server does not have this mod and you connect to it with such a mod in your modding folder.
You could however change the textures manually in order to achieve the changes.
This was like the most annoying thing in survival and now it finally got adressed :D
