I started a remake when the workshop tools were first released. I will get a CS2 version out soon. I want to take balance into consideration and make a good remake that is closer to the original.

Ehm, for a fan and who have played the Xbox version, this is not really a good remake map. You just seem to design areas for CT to easily get the hostage easily, especially how close they are without really giving much options for CTs to go the second rotute. I really hope to see improvements in the future.

Miami Heat (cs_miami) was a hostage map in the Xbox version of Counter-Strike and was notably the only console-exclusive map. Until now.

It's much more balanced than the original, at least it's my opinion. I loved this map on the original CS on Xbox, the nostalgia is just too much for me to handle. This map needs a bit of optimization, if there are more than 5 players on corridor the FPS drop a lot, and bots get stuck on doors too many times, but the layout is great. I think that the hostage dropout zone is a bit too far away, if there are enemies waiting, since there is only 1 way the CTs can go to spawn.

definitely not the old miami. from cs side going left there is definitely an extra dog leg and wtf there is a ladder from t side spawn to the vent? the original version only had drop down to hostage and the vault only had one entrance and blah blah blah. anyone know where i can find miami at?

it looks and feels like really good map and i hope it will be in some operation. but there is 1 thing i think should be fixed in this map. recueing hostage is almost impossible because there is only 1 route to hostage rescue zone and its too far away from the building so u cant even smoke the distance and try to go ninja. u sould add second route or/and change the hostage rescue zone closer to building. i know that this was in cs cz ds, cs xbox and almost made it to cs cz as official map and u probably dont want to change anything but still i think that u should make it easier to rescue hostage once its already on your back.

Seriously, work on this map dude. Get this up to par and get some advices from possibly some expert players. I want to see this map make it into a regular rotation in competetive. This map was always a nice concept, but had too many "funnels." Every path was a meat grinder for CT's, and that's why it's never made an appearance outside of two of the more obscure North American CS releases.
