Again, you can change the specific character spawned using Assembly. Scroll to the bottom of the Brute/Miranda biped and change it.
2. Horror Chicken: Look at newest comments by Cy, he explains it well.
3. Terragis Part 1:I honestly know very little about mcc modding and don't know how to copy tags, all I use is assembly Part 2.Again all I have used it assembly, and I'm not really open to going back to this mod currently, I am working on halo3 odst. Part 3/4 If I learned this, then yes I would go back to make them random and yes I would make them be able to move more.
4. Kevin if I knew how I would make them follow you everywhere.
5.Jasazoka: because there are no marine or elite.char for the level, so I could only pick between having grunts, jackals, brutes, or flood, so I picked Grunts.
First of I wanna say sorry for not responding to any questions past my first one, I quit games (not modding) for my self improvement journey, and while that is still true, I decided to come back to steam to see if anyone commented and it blew up, so I will respond to all questions in order.
Again, use Assembly, decompress the map first and then use the "poke changes" option rather than save to make changes in game.
They will spawn with the default weapon for their biped. Short of actual scripting I don't think this can be influenced.
I was experimenting with it though. If you use Assembly, an older modding tool before the official ones came out, you can make changes to the biped's default weapon and then poke those changes into game before spawning them.
4. If you do happen to learn more about editing the general scenarios, would you be willing to add more move/firing zones to the levels so allies can move through even more areas?
I only have a few problems that I hope get fixed and/or improved.
1. Elite ultras/honor guards you spawn go berserk way too frequently in later levels due to the increase in melee enemies, making ranged mostly null for them and locking them out of attacking enemies like sentinels (Maybe make them a separate copied tag from the ones your using and change them up a bit?).
