Updating the map right now to change a few things, but it's mainly in preparation of the next map i'm publishing ASAP, a remake of Gridlock. So for the time being, you'll see errors if you just update the map, you need to download the required model pack now. It's a big pack but it helps me for future maps meaning you won't have to download 10+ gb of content since maps of course overlap in content.

You can't have phong on lightmapped props, but you can still use envmap reflections. You can still do phong on dynamic props. Also, we will soon have phong support for lightmapped brushes, so hopefully we can have it for props one day.

Texture reflections? If you're referring to speculars then no, because of how source works, using bumpmaps on static map assets degrades the lighting quality heavily. Meaning they can't use phong.

I can't believe somebody actually went out and did this. I wanted to do GoW maps once, but I gave up due to lack of good references for the prop positioning. Stellar job. Did you manage to convert the texture reflections properly?

I recommend you try out the recommended addons in the description!

@Ellis Redneck The idea actually, bit of a pipe dream but it may actually be possible, is to make a map which combines: Fuel Depot, Bulletmarsh, Process, the exterior of the Lethia Imulsion factory from Act 3 of Gears 1, and the ending exterior area from the cutscene at the end of Act 3. All combined into 1 big Sandbox/RP map. I've already turned some campaign maps from Gears 2 and Gears 1 into Sandbox levels, but it takes forever, and the one i'm currently working on has a huge technical issue causing the map to crash upon loading it. (It's set in the Jacinto Hospital from the start of G2, where you trained Carmine. Screenshots on my profile.)

This is absolutely insane. I love Fuel Depot. One of the greatest maps in not only Gears Of War history, but also in gaming history aswell. You should recreate Bullet Marsh, or Subway from Gears Of War. Absolutely a massive respect for you making this man!
