This one doesn’t work in B42. I have a tentative fix but its even more janky than this mod already is. More to come!

Hey, is it possible to add the build 42 tag ?
it wont even show up in the mod menu, and the debug thing the devs wrote in the "help" thing is a lie since the button to "show outdated mods" doesnt exist.

This mod probably will never be able to deal with additional map mods unless someone forks it and codes those in too.

hey, will this account for map mods? like ones that are way off the vanilla map, like Fort Knox or Slocan Lake or New Albany or Jasperville or Kingsmouth? etc? or will the random spawn only be somewhere in the standard vanilla region?

b42 hype has awoken me. Fixed the major issues reported. F9 re-rolls. Delete key clears nearby zombies. I tested this all morning and I did not really need these debug functions but I am leaving them in for a while. I'm sorry if f9 is mapped to something else for you! For anyone having issues please pull the logs with like TRS event processor or TRS Debug in the line and post it on pastebin or something.

This mods still works for SP, I tested it like two months ago, thing is sometimes the mod for some reason doesn´t appears in the game even if you suscribe to it. I had that problem but I don´t remember how I fixed it tho, it was probably by re-installing the game

I am loving the mod but I am hoping it is still alive - it'd be amazing to get it working with the vehicle interiors!

pillow hasn't commented in a year so I'm gonna guess this mod is dead. It's never worked for me, at least I think it isn't working: I just get a black screen for several minutes when trying to spawn. The game is still up (part of the UI is visible) and no errors thrown. Console logs just stop in place without indicating a problem. It's possible it's spending a LOOOOOOONG time validating my spawn, or it's possible it's totally locked up. Can't tell, but if it's validating, I wasn't willing to wait that long.

Mod is very buggy at the best of times. Even if you choose a specific spawn location (like rosewood, ect) it may sometimes bug out, fling errors at you and use a random spawn anyway.

Also, using the 'wilderness near a camp' option is bugged and will ALWAYS trap you in the water.

the F9 key will allow you to 'respawn' somewhere else on the map once.

Mod is great. This is how I start every run now by using true spawn. Sometimes it places you in very tricky situations like the massive building you're in is surrounded or you get put into a shed in the middle of nowhere.

Great, but I think there should be a sandbox option to choose the probability of each possible point, because 80% of me started in the wilderness: ( so i am I really so unlucky?)

While random, this mod does not create a small "safe zone" around the player, i ended up spawning inside a house that was so surrounded by zombies i couldnt even get out of the door before getting killed XD

When im using true random spawn this happens nonstop using the insertion mods insertion spawn and not parachute randomly spawning elsewhere every time the error happens and for some reason not getting the error but cycling to 8 different points with parachute

This mod is very good, thank you so much for doing it, but there is a problem, when you press the F9 key, the game teleports you to a new random place but does not check whether this place fits the necessary conditions, I will explain: I chose in the settings to be spawned inside buildings, I was spawned inside a column, I pressed F9 and I was teleported into the forest millions of kilometers from the nearest buildings, Story number two: I slept inside a column, pressed F9 and I was teleported inside another column! ) you should make the ability to press F9 infinite

Got spawned into the pillar of gas station, apparently those are just 4walls and I managed to get lucky/unlucky enough and it counts as being inside a building, welp carefull for that guys

multiple times when using it i always spawn in the water for a brief moment and start drenched, second time using it i spawned in the river outside of riverside and then gave me around 4000 errors

I'm having two weird issues, 1 where my record button (f9) sometimes teleports me to a random wilderness location, and when I reload a save it puts me in a random spot

anything starting with t in the name spawns you like you click the true random spawns span option, any way to fix this other than not using those mods?

Good mod, just pointing out that at this point in time, the "near civilization" setting in sandbox doesn't prevent you from spawning directly on the street or in a building in Louisville. That's a little too "near" for me, personally! Can't wait to see how this mod develops, thank you for your hard work.

Correct it will work generally with map mods using the vanilla map cells. The cells are categorized according to the vanilla map though.

there was an issue between versions, I accidentally pushed the location filtering code that was untested. The workshop version is now 1.1 that resolved the errors of starting new games, should be stable.

Hi @nah it always starts on water and should teleport you to a valid spawn. This is the dirty trick I used to force the mod to always consider the first spawn invalid and continue to try for good ones.

Are you seeing yourself teleport from the water into a valid spawn or does it just stop there on water? if so, can you possible put your log file here https://bin.acciuga.space/ and send me it (or any other pastebin)

For some reason this mod keeps spawning me in cell 21,16 , which is in the middle of the river

Thanks! Denver was just an example, I really meant the most popular new locations that are added on top of the vanilla map.
