Love this mod but I was wondering if the prosthetics would look better in some kind of darker colour rather than having the leather/woody colour. Would it be cool if I made a mod to add a variant for the prosthetics?

I am currently playtesting b42 and trying to determine how things work now. A lot has seemingly changed. I haven't done anything with modding in many months, so it will take me some time to learn how everything must be done now.

With that said, there *are* plans to update my mods to the best of my ability. Some of my mods are quite complex and i'm not sure if they will even work with the new systems due to the way I designed them. They will likely have to be re-built from the ground up. This will take some time, and unfortunately I cannot give an accurate ETA on when I will figure out how to update my mods. I don't want to get hopes up or provide false expectations.

Hello like the previous question if we are bitten will we still be infected and I want to add that I have an error message on the mod when you are in the game looking at the active mod

If you get bitten in your arm, and you saw it off, would you still be infected with the virus?

can there be a version that makes it so only the arm and hand is removed so sleeves n' stuff are still there?

is there any way to wear sleeves and the amputated arm? it breaks the roleplay a little bit when it is winter and I go with a cut in the jacket up to the armpit

@maemento mori Is it intentional that the amputated "clothes" can have padding added to multiple different body parts, thereby increasing defense? It's a little OP actually

So, yes I think Only Cure and this mod can be compatible, One is focused on gameplay, other on visual

I test the mod and NO, ISNT SIMILAR TO ONLY CURE, u can't cut your arms, u can just "remove" urs arms/legs visually ONLY (admin command, not RP) (u can be bit on ur arm which is no longer there lmao).

Its the same for prosthetics.

So i have a mod called the only cure and it can make u cut off ur arm and stuff like that and with the arm you cut off makes your movements slower, Do you think that this mod will help with the slow moving or no

Due to the way vanilla shoes / gloves work, they are only worn in tandem. You may have luck with modded clothing, but default clothing unfortunately won't behave in the way you're describing. It's disappointing bc I ran into that exact problem, too.

Is there a mod to add where I can wear just a left or right shoe and just a left or right glove? Many thanks

Is there a workaround to handle clipping when selecting an amputation on the character creation screen? Loving the mod, something that allows me to do more storytelling with prosthetics from the beginning is something I’ve always wanted, but the clipping is hard to ignore.

I can’t say for sure how they did it, but TOC has the option to just have the forearm amputated and with that, shirts look just fine. Are you planning to add more customization with amputations? Are you looking to add more types of prosthesis?

Hello, I really enjoy your mod! We made our own skins for our server and the colours for the amputations are a little off now, is it alright if I tweaked with the amputation textures so that it matches and add it to my friend's server's modpack?

Great, but the textures on the bags disappear. almost everything including vanilla bags

just a quick question, does it apply to every limb at once or can you choose to have like no left arm and get a prosthetic?

does the prosthetic limbs have functions or are they also simply just roleplay? Just wondering because the hook hand seems like a narly melee weapon

you should find a way to pair this with the "only cure mod" (if you didnt know it allows you to 'cure' your bitten limbs by cutting them off) then it would be so much better

You can use an item spawner mod or debug mode to spawn them in if you want.

Upon further investigating, the options are only available when "all clothing unlocked" option is checked during sandbox options. I'll look for a way around this, but I'm not sure if there is due to the items using custom body locations and default character creation only showing vanilla locations.

Choosing that "unlock all clothing" option in sandbox creation does allow them to be equipped during character creation, though. The UI translation update will be coming shortly, as well.

I like and appreciate your ideas. This mod was commissioned for a server so i'll need to check with them before making any changes to how the items work. This was the way it was originally requested by the commissioner so it's how I developed and released it. You're definitely correct on saying that riding on that other mod for spawning isn't a good idea. I need to figure out a better solution.

Currently, they are available during character creation from all I can tell. The options are near the bottom under "ClothingType_Amputation_XX" and "ClothingType_Prosethetic_XX". (I will be changing these to be more readable names in a UI update sometime very soon).

If you try again and can't see those options in character creation, feel free to add me on steam and I can try to work with you on how to make this function. Sorry to hear you've been facing issues with it!

@⛧☾ maemento mori ☽⛧I think it's more so my mod selection rather than user error which was causing debug mode to crash everytime I tried opening the game... lol. I have tried cheat menu rebirth but for one reason or another the menu just didn't show up, I think it's important to keep in mind it is an old mod so maybe riding on it for your mod to work isn't a good idea. I like your mod, it's cool, I just think theres gotta be a way to get it to work without needing an external mod and without needing debug mode. I did end up getting it to work on a server with a mate of mine using admin perms and yeah the models look awesome but I think you should look into making them craftable or make them spawn somewhere. Better yet, make it a cosmetic item you can select in the character creation, that way you wouldn't be finding amputated body parts as an equipable item lol. Nice mod tho, sorry if my first comment was a little harsh

This is user error on your part. The mod works fine. If you're having trouble using debug mode, try using an item spawner mod like cheat menu rebirth
