"lowest" lighting setting makes trees never be transparent, mods or not.
this should really be part of the base game, half the trees have leaves and branches above the players head, how you cant see anything past a thin tree truck makes no sense.

like how the function to replicate light is
you see for the lighting to follow the player you will have to spawn it and despawn it to where the player is . and that the only way to do that.
this however is already stored ingame as it simply modifies the trees ingame
meaning whatever proccessing power before and after this mod was installed has little to no impact whatsoever
