I'm actually working on an update to make this more clear, but it'll take a bit, I have to figure out text rendering.
Dying to an angel in an angel room is something I considered, but the mod needs a room that can be 'cleared' to actually function correctly, and an angel room is 'cleared' from the moment you enter since none of the layouts have enemies without bombing a statue.
I don't disagree, it would be a good idea to have it work like that, but unfortunately I can't change that due to limitations with the modding API and the way that this item currently functions. Never say never, though, if I figure out a way I might change it.
[And also. This item IS a secret room item. It just also rarely appears in angel rooms since I thought secret-only would make it too rare since so few secret room layouts have items in them.]
There's also the item pool issue, which is fair. I didn't really see it as a good fit for the Treasure Room or Curse Room, but definitely not good for the Shop, and it's not red so Ultra Secret is right out. If you've got any ideas for item pool changes I'd love to hear them.
...Tell you what though, I'll give it a 33% chance to not pick q2 items in the next update, basically free Sacred Orb. I didn't realize so many godawful items were q2.
