Thank you for this mod, it is a massive QOL improvement of those of us that cant blueprint in our heads.
Also I submitted a translation for your mod
It's great, thanks
Hey thanks for answering me and so fast. I'm trying to find the .json file but Steam deck is weird about workshop mods and stores them as .bin but when I looked in it I didnt see any .json files. Also, I should have probably mentioned that I use kb+m controls on the Deck for this game.
Damn thanks for the quick fix! I've indeed seen that Klei has fixed the autosave drag bug, however I do still sometimes get that bug. Even with the mod... Hmm maybe I'll play without for a while and see what happens. Keep it up!
Basically, cancel in planning mode -> remove plans. Cancel and explicitly select "plans" -> remove. Cancel normally ("all") -> cancels everything *except* plans.
I looked into it, seems like "Autosave drag fix" hasn't been updated in a while and is prone to crashes. Just having the build menu open with tile selected caused a null reference exception during autosave (without Planning Tool enabled).
The mod shouldn't be needed anymore either, as dragging during autosaving was addressed in the 2022 October Sweet Dreams update: Fixed issue where dragging was not properly disabled during auto saving, causing build and dig commands to stretch across the asteroid. Now the autosave will just wait for the drag command to finish before saving.
Anyway I've updated Planning Tool to not crash if ordered to deactivate by "Autosave drag fix", make sure you have v1.0.5 installed.
Thanks for making this!
This mod is the perfect example that demonstrates that you have to think carefully about everything about a game's UI and it's functionality to make the game attractive and satisfying when you play.
It remind me how building feel so smooth and satisfying the 1st you play subnautica or Satisfactory.
