Can the default phrase say walkie-talkie instead of radio? Its kind of misleading.

account names being used instead of characters is not a bug, that is how chat works in vanilla.

not sure if it's this mod but running into an issue where prox chat doesn't work via radio. does this mod change range or mess with voice chat via the radio? It's the only mod we have that has anything to do with the walkies

Do radios have to be on for users to be able to chat in global? ( thus requiring batteries )
Or just having an empty non functional radio enables the chat?

Hey can this be added to an existing multiplayer server or does the server need to be re-init'd for this to work?
It would use the default sandbox vars if added to an existing save right?
(If so can you share what the defaults are?)

Just everybody can use global chat without walkie talkie. Maybe it happening because of mod "keep this radio on lite" I guess

@Yuri-chan what's happening specifically? It shouldn't cause any issues, but if theres another mode that plays with the chat, it will interfere with it

So it seems that mod doesn't work on our server. What can cause that? I mean a mod conflict or just a bug in mod?

I've basically had to re-write the entire mod. Thankfully, if I can get some testing done soonish, I can get character names out by Friday at the absolute latest!

Still learning the ropes of Lua and the documentation. Hopefully I can squash out character names tonight :)

@Dane character names are currently a WIP. I'm thinking the framework I'm using isn't going to be viable at the moment, I may have to create my own. Hopefully I can get this up and running shortly ;v;

Yep ! :) I thought you had hooked the function to have the first name + last name of the character instead of the username

Two fixes coming shortly;
- Fixed No Radio Text Sandbox Variable not being utilised correctly
- Added character names to messages (This can be changed in settings!)
- Please note that admin accounts will never show their character name.
