@Destruction Yeah that's a known bug, that I'm pretty sure was fixed at some point, but seems to be back. Seems to be hard coded that you can't go past 500 affinity

I'm not sure why, but for me, the Affinity rites only work up to 500 in each affinity, after that point the game stops accumulating order, chaos, shadow, nature, materium or astral affinity and I can't unlock additional uses.

General affinity keeps accumulating as usual and I can unlock more cities.

What would I need to edit to restore the expanded governance to not require anything other then imperium, but leave all of the other changes intact?

Good news everyone, it seems with the Tiger patch that the hard limit of 500 affinity experience was removed, so now every Rite is repeatable

Is this mod safe to use with the new Eldritch Realms DLC? Oh and can the AI use this as well (I'm new to the game so if they can't use these development rites anyway my b) or is it player only?

Regarding the issue of [500], I conducted a test and found that by changing the maximum skill level from 500 to 600, the limit can be reduced to 600.
So if we can create the 11th skill and change the upper limit to 9999, we can solve this problem.
But I won't do imperial research and development. I have checked the official PDF and there is no tutorial on this topic.
I am not a native English speaker and may have difficulty learning these materials.
Can the author see if my approach is helpful?
I personally changed 500 to 600, and this level 8 skill can be used twice.

Hi @Kaige, I love this mod!

I had written a bug report, but after that I read the description and realized that you already said that the Affinity is capped at 500. Sadly.

But, for the 'root' branch (the one that goes downward), does it stop accumulating and also allows the City Cap Rite?

Maybe that phenomenon is worth investigating ;-)

could you make the city builder non-increasing? So for example keeping it at 200 every instance?

Oh no.. I just saw the change in the description.. is there absolutely no way to make it work? E.g. use another value than affinity? or use a cooldown timer instead?

I think it's because the tree is capped at 500. The rite stop being repeatable because the tree stop getting "updated" once it reaches a number greater than 500,

I have a problem with this mod; I'm able to use a rite more than once, but once I use a rite twice, the all the rites stop accumulating affinity (The turn counter stays the same for the rest of the game)

When I use this mod I cannot build a Wizard Tower anymore! Maybe it is conflicting with 1 of the other Mods I am using. Bummer. anyways: thanks for your good work! :steamthumbsup:

i can imagine Matirum and Life Players getting the absolute most out of this (instant 1500 gold, a very powerful chest piece and a free Tier 3 Spirit Wolf)

did you just give each tome their own repeating settings? Or was there another step you had to take in order to make them repeatable?

I edited the Core_Empire_Development.rpk. Unfortunately, downloading others mods and opening them doesn't let you see what edits they made to the base game files

Hi I'm trying to customize your mod so it fits well with my style of play but when looking at the rpk file, all I see is one propety, the "Repeatable Rites ( No Increase )"

Is this the only thing you used to make this mod? It doesn't get referenced anywhere else?

I haven't updated this mod since the new patch dropped, so there's a good chance a lot of it just doesn't work. I do plan on getting around to updating this though

Kaige idk if this is intented or not but the general rite "Rite of Last Stand" doesnt seem repeatable

It seems that this module may cause the game to crash during the turn. In my game, a crash occurs right after one specific AI completes the movement of its troops. I'm not sure what exactly caused this crash, but when I disabled this mod, the game was able to proceed normally. So I suspect that the AI repeated a ritual that caused the game to crash.hope you can fix this problem

Not everything in the Empire Development tree is a rite. The skills say if they are rites when you hover over them

The ability to build roads isn't a rite. It works for me, I haven't had any issues with the mod.

I love the idea behind this... some people in the comments seem to say that it is broken, though. Does this mod function as intended? If so, it's a cool idea... but what happens if you take the ability to build roads twice, for example?

It only works on the summoning or direct buff rites for me.

It's coded the same way repeatable city cap is, so if the AI uses that, then yes
