No, it is not.
Maybe, but I doubt it. I'm pretty sure it's baked into the map. Should work with map mods assuming the creator setup their buildings right. But who knows? Maybe I'm completely wrong, I'll probably test it soon and get back to you on that.
Yeah that's pretty much what it does. It gets the square, then gets the building on said square, and then loops through every room's tiles, getting all doors to be setup with door data, tied to the new owner that purchased the property.
I'm actually not too sure. I'm assuming that it wouldn't work for player built buildings. The only thing I do know for certain is that you can add doors inside of a pre-existing buildings and have access sold for those added doors as well.
