The mod sounds great in concept, however it completely breaks necromancers. When this mod is active, you can only resurrect friendly undead corpses. Not really especially in line with the "your army is my army now" idea people typically have.
Also, sorry if that first line sounded aggressive, I just figured no one would read this whole paragraph.

Yeah, disabling casting it on enemy corpses both reduces strategic depth by removing an option, and hurts the fantasy at the same time.

Hmm, thanks, but that doesn't negate the tactical value of the necromancer's capabilities. On some maps, zombies raised in time from the enemy's lost vanguard squad help temporarily block Rank 5 units.AI is bad with priorities.

There aren't enough extra souls to waste on spells.The necromancer is valuable in that it is possible to raise zombies right in front of the enemy, forcing him to distract from more valuable troops.
In fact, it's not even necessary for zombies to stay alive after a fight.Their task is to take the damage and complicate the life of the enemy, the skeletons do much better with the rest.

In my opinion, It's cheaper to use Raise Zombies spell. Raise Undead should be used on high value units that costs a lot of Soul to get. Not to mention it has 4 turns cooldown (It was once per battle in vanilla).

@GuntherFruit, I changed it to friendly non-undead corpses now so the AI doesn't waste the cooldown and use it on friendly units only, especially Undead units.

I thought that Raise Undead was able to be casted on enemy corpses to spawn a Zombie too? Did you disable it in this mod, or did I hallucinate being able to raise enemies?

I fixed the bug guys, you can't recruit zombies at the start of the game now.

but not on a new game without havng a necromancer, like i said, I can recruit them for gold in a new game

@Antronix, when friendly non-undead units died, Necromancer can raise them as zombies. Anyone can use Necromancer, even Barbarian.

with this mod i can build zombies from start, as barbarian
