Thanks for the suggestion, however:
- I'm animator, not programmer. Maybe you will understand when you get into it.
- SG552 scope simply zoom in, it doesn't execute another animation sequence.
- Script doesn't work when you aren't the host.

So, I found a mod that would be pretty neat, if you wouldn't mind experimenting with it in your ADS mod collection. It's called "Scope on all Guns", and it adds the zoom function of the SG552 to all the firearms in L4D2, even the grenade launcher/M60s. Would you be willing to experiment with trying to see if you could make a version of the script that you could attach to your ADS mods? That way, instead of tying it to the walking/running, the player could manually aim the firearm.

Most importanly, zoom mode No. 5 in the config allows for manual "zoom", like a lot of modern shooters. So, if somehow you could tie the ADS to that specific idea, it could make for an interesting idea.
