For misbehaving objects, may I suggest turning wardrobes and cabinets into simple storages?
Dresser functionality is nice, but may not be worth the bugs/instability

Apologies for the long delay of silence here--was waiting initially for some updates to tmodloader to support banner physics and the motivation for the project got away from me. Will take a look at it again soon and try to track down any remaining issues/see what I can do with appropriate furniture actions. I really thought I'd tracked down the carpet issue, but I guess my testing wasn't thorough enough.

Is there any chance of any tweaks getting made here? Not in terms of new content, but rather added functionality. For instance, adding storage to cabinets. Currently, I'm having to place an entirely out of place chest in my nicely laid out kitchen, and it makes me sad.

@ ORA This bug exists since the original Chad's Furniture mod. I'd be surprised if it's ever getting fixed. The mod is especially buggy when playing on multiplayer server.

Hi there. I've noticed a few bugs. Not a single one wardrobe or cabinet are not working properly. I can't place any of these. Even when I eventually manage to place these they are suddenly dissappearing. But the rest is fine and works properly.

Alright, thank you. I noticed another bug. In multiplayer, players can't see each other's placed carpets (tested wood floor/carpet only so far). Only the player who placed it can see it.

As near as I can tell, this appears to be due to an issue with facings, as a left-facing windmill returns the item properly. Will test other items (though most seem to be working fine) and update things once I've tracked down the issue.

Windmill disappears once removed with a pickaxe. Doesn't go back into the inventory.
Possibly happens with other items too.

Yes, I mention the other port of the mod in the description. My goal was to make this a purely technical port of the mod rather than re-introducing any content or making balance changes, both for personal preference and due to stricter requirements on the Terraria forums around publishing ports of other modders' work.

Additionally, there were a few remaining issues in the other port that I was able to fix, though I have discussed those details with the other porter and am sharing my code with them for that.

I wasn't initially planning to add in journey mode values as the 1.4.4 migration process will set defaults for journey mode and it's a lot of repetitive work, but I have some time so if people want it I can throw it in to the current 1.4.3 version. Should be implemented shortly.
