The original mod is also in the same situation as the owner of it hasn't been giving any news since 2 months now so both the original and submod might be taken over by new people's

Nah, I'm almost sure El Papa isn't coming back for the foreseeable future. I've private messaged him with few times since Feb. He was like a burning fire in modding that man!

I think it's not really abandoned, but waiting for the original mod to be updated. I've noticed how the older SFO patches are crashing because SFO altered the unit junction tables, so I deleted the unit junctions of this mod and it didn't worked anyway, a shame, something else is conflicting. The "Legendary Characters" mod still works with vanilla stats if you people download the file from the discord channel, it's only a rudimentary fix tho... have to wait for the actual update

So this mod is being abandoned for the time being unless someone else picks up the mantle? If that is the case i wish El Papa the best of luck in what ever hes doing outside of modding.

This mod was being maintained by El Papa. He isn't modding right now so it won't be updated.

So will this mod be updated on steam or will it be pinned on the SC discord as well?

I had to remove Karanak dependency and all Karanak entries from this SFO mod as well since I am not using the Karanak mod anymore.

The files on the discord are to fix the base LC mod which crashes right now. The updated file that fixes the issues is not made by the original modder and can't be used to update the mod on Steam. Hence going to discord to obtain the file. Download it, copy it into your data folder, disable the original, and enable the fixed one.

@Mighty Mak What are the files for? Can we use them to play both SFO and LC?

why do we have to go to the discord to fix the mod? Is the original uploader not available anymore?

Just curious. I really don't mind spending a couple minutes to fix the mod cos I really like it.

@DRunkCoWBoy The base mod on Steam has not been updated. You have to go to the skeleton crew's discord and get the file pinned there.

Was waiting so long for SFO Update to play with my mod list again but the only mod wich is missing now is this one here. With it, it crashes.

Looking forward to replay with this mod once the new LC drop and if this submod get's updated

@Mighty Mak I had tried that already actually but its not even launching with just the base mod for whatever reason apparently but thank you I will try to get that working.

I also noted each character that was updated for SFO and disabled the ones that were not in MCT. If I really like one that wasn't updated, I might do so myself. But, like Jack said, it's a massive undertaking.

Just do a search in the Pack Contents window for Ludwig and delete each entry that shows. El Papa and Barney did a good job separating each character to be their own table.

@Mighty Mak What table do you delete Ludwig in? Ive modded forever but ive never know how to remove or add characters.

So this is mod is still playable, just that there are some flaws here and there right? In that case can I get a sorted list of mod including this, SFO and LCharacters to try out pls?

It's easy to clear the issue so there's no CTD.

But you haven't updated /removed abilities, you have rebalanced new lords (El Papa's last update was 30th of January, so everyone added since then are still vanilla value's /abilities.

Personally I've removed this mod from my list until someone is able to update it :(

@Mighty Mak how did you do that? is there anyway you could tell me how to do that or give me the file you made?

I was able to get the mod working by updating the tables and getting rid of Ludwig von Uberdorf (Empire Engineer). As long as you are willing to only use lords and heroes that were updated to SFO standards, it should work fine by doing what I did.

Sad days for WH3. I'm just arriving from WH2. I'm spoiled in WH2 with most of the great mods still working. Seems the longer CA keeps WH3 updating the more great and amazing mods like this we lose to the annals of time.

hello i wanna ask i tried legendary characters on my warhammer but it wouldnt load and always says not responding is it the order or something else thank you

Has nothing to do with bad characters.

does this mod not work with bad characters anymore? I tried using both and only one or the other works.
