That'd be the 4th successor mod for android tiers. The original, reforged, this, plus now a 4th successor. Isn't that a little excessive?

It's a chance-based quest reward. The more mods you have installed, the lower the chance for any one item to show up. You can increase the chance by removing mods, increasing your wealth and increasing your relations with other factions.

The M5 can be called with the Mech Fall Targeter, which can be acquired as a quest reward. It is not craftable.

@Dino Nugget: Ominous Meteorite event. Basically like the T5 used to work.

@ax: Update your mods, check for mod conflicts and your load order. That was fixed a while back but can be caused by loading mods too early that change job order.

question about the spawning of M5s, I've had one appear in the very first raid of my new game, aswell as one appear in a less than $1000 value bandit camp quest while my raids are still small and melee based. can I ask whats up with their spawning?

@mnlg: Known issue. Add the values from their bio to their stats with something like Character Editor to get the correct values. RW doesn't allow "newborns" to have their backstory affect their skills.

So I created four paladins and all of them have a shooting and melee skill that is between 2 and 3. All other skills are either 0 or 1. I can get the non-fighting skills but is it normal that they utterly suck in combat as well?

@<Err>MirzkisD1Ex0: T5 is planned for the far future and M7 is now called M5 and very much still there. You just can't craft them anymore and have to get lucky to get them (or cheat them in. I won't judge).

So i got a M5 targeter, but whenever i use it all it does is cause a large emp explosion and do damage around the immediate area. is that supposed to happen?

Paladins don't seem to have the proper shooting and melee skills, as if the backstory simply isn't applying the bonuses.

@BSOD_man: You can get it through the "Mech Fall Targeter". It's a random quest reward with a high value, so increase your wealth and your standing with other factions to increase the chance to get it.
