I would eliminate the envoy thing and cap the trade routes at 3, or 4 tops. As it is, it's OP. Yet it has a bug where it won't give you trade routes early game for say Writing and Relics, and other basic stuff you can easily get before your first Market or Lighthouse comes online.

@johnlegreat Do you know of any issues with domestic trade routes? I'm getting some kind of game breaking error related to trade routes, consistently crashes. This mod is one of my suspected causes, though I have others of yours that work fine

It is literally fully broken.
My idea of how to fix is that perk:
"Each trade route gives +1 envoy. Great works of writting provides +4 gold and +2 faith alongside standard perks and +1 infuence point. Has two slots for great works of writting."
