So in summary you "get" the axe head if you saw off the handle of the axe.
And you can make a new handle from wood if you have the right tools and skills.

So how are you actually supposed to make use of the mod? If the axehead doesn't spawn in the world, and isnt craftable, how do you obtain one without cheats?
i think the name is axe recrafting
that mod also allow's you to repair the fireaxe and handaxe in the same way
handaxe needs metal tho
I came to accept that well it's because they want stuff to be scarce.
@Mila Lucky doesn't actually help you find rare items. They're so rare the boost is actually rounded down and is equal to Unlucky (which is rounded up)
In that case you would only be finding additional common items with it.
Still a good trait IMO.
