I'd prefer a ball to still be there for a lightning affect. Didn't Dane himself say that the opacity should just be toned down?

In theory this is a great fix, but now the center of the energy ball is just not even there, which does not look good at all.

As others have said, a very small and very bright area in the center and a minor general opacity increase to the Red version would greatly help getting this idea to the finish line of being visible but not obstructing.

I mean the projectile looks pretty nothingy now... Is there anything to be said for a half opacity, non-intrusive ball of lightning in the centre?

I would still like for there to be an orb in the middle. Is there no way of having an orb of light without making it a flashbang?

Honestly this would a be a buff to the short circuit, I despise not being able to see the enemy after alt firing this

Porfavor let me have my flashbang... that flashbang is sometimes a game changer when fighting a sniper... You could make it more transparent for teammates, yes, but enemy snipers shall see nothing.

No, I use it to flashbang Snipers so that they can't quickscope me. It's a ♥♥♥♥ enough weapon as is, there's no need to make it any worse.

Hmmm... maybe the all consuming void that eats all projectiles is bright and clearly visible for a reason

Could you fix also the dragon's fury the problem with that it does blind the players and the dynamic muzzle flash decrease their game fps

While you're at it, can you fix flames so they're opaque because I'm getting really tired of fighting a Pyro and not being able to see anything other than orange.

I'd highly suggest that everyone watches the video. The image is just to show the difference in visibility for the center part. The old one being way too bright and almost impossible to see through

toast did u watch the video of it? I was thinking the same thing by only looking at the before/after picture.. but I just watched the video of it and it definitely looks visible enough when its actually moving. to me at least

short circuit is definitely a weird weapon. probably the most unique one in tf2

although i do appreciate it not being a flashbang, i feel it's not not visible *enough*. a complete rework of the particle is probably in order, preferably something similar to the Halloween spell that is also a big ball of electricity
