This mod does not modify any Uber or Zombie variant textures so it's totally unrelated. You can see which materials are affected by this mod at the very bottom of the description.

i noticed when in the add model menu if you press the scout model with the improved head texures and you choose skin the head turns into wireframes when uber or zombie.

If you look at the Tags of this Workshop Upload, it says 'Materials', not 'Models'. If you search for this upload strictly under the Models tag, you won't find it, as it is only Materials.

That's the path of installation [game/workshop/materials/]player\scout\hwm\scout_head_blue.vmt

They're 'Materials' for the 'Models'. This is the standard naming scheme for SFM

The textures themselves work as soon as you Subscribe to them and Download them inside SFM when the prompt shows up.

In the case that they break/don't work, I'm pretty sure I made it clear enough by describing in minute detail in the description on how to avoid breaking them and how to fix them, as well as including a guide for one of the fixes (that contains images as reference).
