These sound great. I picked my difficulty based on not wanting to have a ton of free starting gear, but the insect attacks are way too frequent for my taste. Is it possible to change the moon on an existing game, or would that break things?

BTW Peace is excellent of military scenario on very hard.
You get huge attacks once in a while and the challenge is surviving against nature.

Is it possible to disable the the popup messages about gazing or no gazing?

Yah, I hated Peace first myself when I tried it. The game needs more stuff to build, decorate with, etc. that isn't centered around defense for it to be engaging (just mho).

I haven't actually gotten any feedback on this mod beyond what is in these comments. I myself mainly play with a custom moon that I added to this which I didn't even publish. A version of Nyx that is like Nyx in all respects except attacks are not "always" at night.

Interesting! Have you gotten any further feedback on this anywhere? I've been playing on easy difficulty before, but going for normal now. I also tried 'Peace first', but that was pretty boring, tbh

Hard plus the moon combined, yes. I mean, if you play on hard, even with the game's default moons you can get attacked so frequently that you are barely finished with one when the next one starts.

Just started my first game with this. On hard difficulty. Io is the moon. 1st attack came after quite a delay which was nice, but then I had attacks on day 17, 20 and now 23. That doesn't feel normal to me. Is it because I'm on Hard difficulty?
