i love this mod

@DragonSlayer, Skink archer was indeed a part of Lizardmen army when the Lizardmen first came out. The "starter pack" came with Lizardmen vs Bretonnians.
Saurus themselves were much tougher and where supposed to go up against Bretonnia Knights on horses. Sadly at some point later (after I stopped being into Warhammer for a while), they were all changed to the weaker units (and new units introduced) that we see today, and are reflected in Total Wars version.

Just wanted to say that I LOVE this mod! It gives the Lizardmen a proper archer unit, which is sorely missed whenever you have to go up against armies that do have good ranged troops. It also does totally fit within the lore as Skink archers were a part of the army at one point :)

its a shame they took away our bows on table top i still have 50 old one w bows

It's such a small addition, but this mod unironically rocks.

No, I considered this unit to be something on par with skink skirmishers.

There was some changes to animation in recent update. I'm currently not near my PC and i can update it after about 10 days.

looks like the mod needs an update... or am i so lucky that in my game they don't shoot. It looks like a stuck "bow reload" animation, they just repeat it constantly without firing.

I tested Lustria Rise and this mod in skirmish and skink cohort (javelins) worked fine.

i didn't owerwright any vanilla entries assigned to other skinks. If you run game with only this mod, skinks javelins does not throwing their missile?

These are very lore friendly btw, at least back in the day! Southlands skinks would use bows and arrows, much to the embarrassment of the Slann

Its good, this concept could potentially be expanded on chameleons too, or even personalities on top of stegadons or any other dinos. Great job

Fire related animation not perfectly transferred from goblin sword and bow hu5_goblin_sword_bow.
A lot of work in Asset Editor kitbashing animation and fitting props.
