Don't worry, ya didn't bother me at all tbh. Thanks for being a fan, I always say they need a paint editor in this game to begin with, others such as myself will make due. Painting the colors of an army is vital for a more personalized experience, so I enjoy making more and more so there is always somewhat of an option.

Found Problem Unique Faction UI mod seem some reason cause issue i removed it and now mod works fine

What I do, is turn all mods off and start one by one. Thought whatever works for you. Thanks for the heads up btw. I do care if my mods work and the game changing has messed a few up in the past before. Have a good one!

no, ive made black and red for Astro already and astro doesn't have black/red. He has Black Orange

Im gonna make more recolors, it'll take time though- gotta wanna do em. Also i'm trying to not use black too much. I do have ideas for Silver, but with no second color chosen. I also wanna try oxidized copper because the primary color changes the war machines.
