the limit is 3k storage which might be not enough for some traders that trade huge expensive unusuals for keys

We already have backpack expanders. I think this is overkill.

I would love something like this. I end up just throwing out seasonal cases when I get them because they fill my inventory and I don't have a place for them. This would be a big fix in allowing me to hold onto them and not crowd my inventory.

Not a fix but yeah ok suggestion. Once an account reaches max storage it would be cool to have something like this without resorting to some alt account or mass dumping of items, perhaps a max storage account would unlock the ability to craft these with refined, that might give another purpose for metal all while keeping the purpose of the backpack expanders. It would make currency trading easier too.

Maybe make this, only obtainable if you have max storage (60 backpack slots). That would solve the problem for the backpack expander still being usefull.

I actually dig this, this plus the backpack extender will make the backpack as big as we want.
