I'd recommend joining the Rivals of Aether Extended Workshop Discord. They can help out. As for me I still have no interest in the character due to this only being a request as an assist and no knowledge of the comics much.

Not against helping, but after working on multiple Sonic characters in a row I have been burnt out.

Does anyone even know if theres a place to ask people if they could attempt to make a character?

I'd try myself but i have not a single clue on how to make a mod in this game, and even if i knew, i'm no artist, it would look horrible.

Maybe in the future that could change, but for the moment i'd like to know if anyone knows people that would do mods for the fun of it?
(people that would make stuff if paid aswell i guess since any direction is a good direction, although i'm broke as shit thanks to crossworlds lmao)

Anyways to give a little update since I know someone is gonna ignore that to ask for me specifically to make Surge a full fighter (which isn't happening because this particular assist was a request I *don't know* who this character is well).

The only assists that had even a passing glance to be worked on were:
- Amy (EXISTS AS A FIGHTER NOW GUYS)
- Reisen
- Bass
- Shadow
- Protoman*
- Yellow Devil*

* = More considered after the assist

Everyone else, yes this includes Surge, were never supposed to develop into full fighters. So get over it.

Everyone here could've probably got together to make Surge their own fighter themselves.

Running a Surge assist on characters with slow but powerful strong attacks is ridiculously OP. But to be fair, I'd prefer finished characters more than assists. Assists just feel like a lazy version of making a character as a whole. It's a shame really because I was excited to see how Surge would play. Maybe give her a variation of EWGF, a slow moving electric projectile to combo with or detonate early, give her a lightning dash attack similar to Bisons psycho crusher, the sky's the limit.

I get being upset over a character you wanted as a fighter being made as an assist but y'all need to remember making a character takes time and effort. Assists are a lot faster and easier to make, especially if you don't have ideas for a full moveset.

Yeah Rivals is clearly dying. No new characters are coming out, it's not like we haven't seen characters like Mecha Sonic, Oxob, Iron Checkpoint Crate, Primal Aspid, Springtrap, Hisui, Black Imposter, Mama Coco DE, Vanda, Sol, Yooka and Laylee, Tetronimo, Banban, Bowser, Ghost Fresk, Puppet, Piranha Plant, Perfect Cell, Flowey, Rumia, Anthem DE, Cyphernyan, Raze Birdie, Squishball, Monk, Mokou, Cheese Wheel DE and Michiru. Oh no, those are not Dante so they don't exist!

People just come out with ideas I never did like the whole smash land stuff ether but keep ya head up. Dimps is making something new and its not a Assists.

yeah i feel like Rivals has been on it's last leg lately. People are running out of idea's for content, it's all either smash land OC's, or assist characters now. hell Rivals has been on steam for 6 years now, and we still don't have a single Dante character in the workshop yet and it baffles me?
