this is cool but frankly not nearly enough gambling this mf needs the fever

The only change I would make is to have the coins skip away from you after touching the ground instead of towards you like the cards, to make it easier to power-up said cards through rock-skipping.

But other then that, fun character.

doubledown is quite old. im aware he's subpar

ive posted a lot of his remade in a lot of the modding yomi servers. might want to join some

if you think DD is a gambler, then perhaps you need to look up it's definition. there's no gambling whatsoever, his whole kit revolves around being safe. Four of a Kind being a free aerial maneuver, Full House basically making him invincible to close range hits and grabs, the coins and cards giving you free turn, the card basically flying forever if thrown straight, Risk giving him so much maneuverability to shimmy, Roulette basically being Psycho's Lethal Slash but with variable distance, and more gap closers that will put Goren and Zenitsu to shame. Jesus. if it wasn't for a lot of cheap things, he would be balanced. I honestly don't mind FoaK, Full House, or the free turns, just don't give his card infinite flying distance and for the love of god, Risk and Roulette pretty much ignores DI.

Doubledown's predictions with the cards are often desync'd or inaccurate. Many many times have I waited because it showed the card wouldn't quite reach me, only for it to initiate a free combo for the other player because actually, fuck me, it did reach.

Hakari never acquired reversed cursed technique, but, the infinite cursed energy overflowing in Hakari's body caused his body to reflexively perform reversed cursed technique in order to not take any damage. In other words, in the 4 minutes and 11 seconds following a Jackpot, Hakari is effectively... Immortal.

Hakari is a Jujutsu Kaisen character with the ability of having a chronic gambling issue so bad it somehow makes him one of the strongest characters in the series. I will not explain how because leaving it as this is just slightly more funny
